Wow no comments! I have a similar stem from Redshift. I feel you don't notice the benefit until you take it off and realise the difference it made. That said, the Redshift stem doesn't suffer from any significant sag, at least for me

I wouldn't gravel without my Redshift

Update us after a few months of use. A friend got the same clone EeSilk stem from AliExpress and the "chrome finish" started delaminating after a few months.

I bought the Ali version and the block on the top that you remove when changing the rubber damper snapped in half. I think its because I over tightened the top allen set screw. It still works, but that black metal block seams weak. Trying to figured out if I can replace it somehow.

Did you experiment with different elastomers? Cane creek has apparently addressed the sag issue with developing stiffer ones.

It came with three other elastomers. I had the stiffest one in it when I recorded the video... But I can't say for sure that it felt any different from the one that was in it originally... This did come from AliExpress so I can't say for certain that a real set of elastomers from Cane Creek wouldn't fix the problem. Maybe I'll order a set from them and try it out in a future video.

@@evelkestriegel Time will tell but I wonder about the quality of the pivots…in particular the bushings. I don’t imagine they would actually be dangerous unless the outside clamps fail from torsional stress.

How much bobbing with the stiffest setting? Did i hear that right that it sags half the clearnace with onmy your weight on the hoods?

I would say the adjuster does minimal changes as far as bobbing. Still wanting to try a real damper from cane creek to see if it changes

@evelkestriegel would you say it's still a worth it to buy? I am thinking of getting ut and get the real damper for it.

Does your creak? I find find mine has an annoying creak I can't put my finger on.

I've just received mine. But theres some things to consider:
    1. Mine came with very shar (not chamfered?) internal edges so i sanded them down with my dremel so it wouldn't damage my carbon steerer.
    2. Mine made a rattling sound, I nailed it down to the wedge which "locks" the stems movement, ended up using some grease on it to stop it from making so much noise. The original wedge seems to have a rubber part which may prevent this, not sure if mine has it.
    3. Elastomers are the same as yours, didnt notice so much difference between the soft and firm. Im just 60kg and the firmest feels quite soft. Just ordered the "extra firm" original from cane creek hopefully its noticably harder.
