Thanks for this video review. I ride a steel frame gravel bike, rigid fork...these sound good for taking the vibration out of the canal paths I ride. I'm going to give them a go
settled on the blue for now ,its really a game changer for such low cost.i have a very light road bike that id stopped using for long distance rides because my hands would always hurt because of the terrible roads in uk.now i can use it more and dont have to worry about occasionally jumping up on the kerb or over potholes.
Mate i watched this video a couple weeks ago and decided to ordered 2 units , i have 2x 20 inch folding bikes, I fitted them through the week, we went out last night for our first ride , the Difference was unbelievable, they have transformed our bikes many thanks Gordon NZ
@@FATBIKERIDER thanks for the answer. Mine is making a sound when metal is hitting metal, when it returns to its starting point :/ will contact the seller...
@@vargaszilard2425 Mine does the same. When it comes back to its initial position it hits the metal on the metal. I think it is a design flaw. I am thinking about using some cushioning. How did you approach it?
Got one and tried it but it bottoms out and tops out on the big bumps. this will work on smooth roads and gravel but will be clunky on the rough stuff even on the green spring. It does soften the light stuff though and the price is not bad to find out if a suspension stem is for you
Hi there! Great review! I really tempted to this stem. I ride mostly on flat and some uneven pavement. I'm thinking to get rid of my front suspension and replace it with the rigid fork.
@@MichaelLeiBarrientos It does. I'm using the 2nd to the hardest spring; it only acts when i bump at speeds (15 km/h up). I'm using butterfly handlebars.
Your video is very interesting, thank you very much. Have you continued using this product, the quality is good, have the springs not lost their rigidity? Greetings.
Hello I have a standard e bike MTB with a cheap air fork. Would you say this is responsive enough to smooth out handlebar vibrations on cobblestone road, where the fork isn't able to repond in time? Or is it more for bikes without suspension?
Because it is spring suspension, its reacts well to high frequency bumps like cobblestones. In my experience it soaks up most of the impacts and leave me feeling happy at my hands. Definitely worth it for its price. The stem is heavy though. Something I don't like about it is the topping out cause a metal to metal impact which is irritating.
lots of them on Ali Express, but given the wild divergence in price I would guess the cheap ones are knock offs. the one I ordered in Australia was A$70.00.

Great video! I just purchased two for less than the price of one from the major brands. Love your workshop too, very nice setup and neatly organized!

I really tempted to this stem. I ride mostly on flat and some uneven pavement. I'm thinking to get rid of my front suspension and replace it with the rigid fork.
I bought mine for Php 2,500, an equivalent of US$ 45. I've fitted it on my converted touring bike with the red spring installed.
does it give a comfort advantage? are you on dropbars? I am planning to buy too

@@YuunaAndCuddles thank you for your fast reply.. I am buying the stem :)
@@MichaelLeiBarrientos One more thing to note. The stem is heavy, around half kilo. Best of luck mate!
$70 USD shipped is not bad, wished there were more reviews!
the ideal is to let the stem do the small bumps
while the fork handle the big bumps because fork have LONGER TRAVEL.
I think i need :)
Knockoff version of the kinekt stem suspension. Threadlocker orange will keep the spring bolt from loosening. Has it lasted since you bought it?
Yep working as it should buddy
