Have you tried a strap-under deployant clasp? The fixed end (where the buckle & spring bar are) goes on the outside, ending at a what I call a terminal block, and the end with the holes ends up laying against your wrist. They look super comfortable and I think they offer an amazing look. Would love to see your thoughts on that style vs this style.

Yes and the problem is they only work with thinner bands, I prefer thick.

@@ts6640 This is the style I am now using on two of my watches and really like them. I have chosen to wear them in reverse styling as I prefer the short end of the strap to be closest to me, and recently found out that I am not alone in this. They look and feel great. Strong recommend if you can. I've been buying mine from eWatchParts out of Texas.

Unfortunately the Gecko deployment was rather short lived as you can’t get it anymore. There’s a few less popular ones left i.e. gold and rose gold but that’s it. Also only available in 16mm and 18mm.

I know this is a dumb question, but do you have to switch the two parts of the strap (i.e., buckle end of strap attached at the 12:00) to get it to work right? I installed it with the straps attached normally, and it wouldn’t fold the right way. Swapped the two strap ends and now it works right, but I feel like I probably did it wrong.
Regardless, great recommendation! Absolutely love it. I was worried about how it would fit, but it’s super comfortable-maybe even more so than with the normal tang buckle since I’m able to put it in a spot where it fits my wrist better.
