Civic Aerodeck GEAR SHIFTER REFURB - Part 2 - Gear Linkage

I try to fix the floppy gear shifter in my Honda Civic Aerodeck. In this video I remove the gear linkage and refurbish it, also fitting a new oil seal, gear linkage boot and bitch pin. The gear shift is almost like new now, I hope you join me for the video.

Nice job on the rebuild, you are no longer stirring a wooden spoon in a pudding bowl as people used to say about sloppy gear boxes.

Nice Video mate, Nice to see people doing stuff on these type of cars, ive just been watching your Civic Videos as of recent as im going to be attempting to restore My Honda Civic VTi MB6 needs a fair amount of welding for starters, it was my grandads car so its pretty sentimental. so hopefully i can get cracking on with it soon :)

The linkage on the combos seems to be a weak spot as I have just found out 😂

Yea, my combo gear shift is getting a bit notchy now too, so that’ll be next probably.
