i'm just gonna put my two cents on one thing that bothers me a bit: for what purpose were 2.5 and 3.0 original songs getting encore versions for? i thought the whole purpose of "encore" was to give a "round 2" to pre-existing songs. we do not need, say, a fatality encore version, why would we ever need that??
The idea of encore in the og mod was to remix ever song, basically an erect remix for exe Fatality did have part of its encore leaked, but I can't find it anymore lmao

I feel like this restoration mod was trying to do way too much. It should’ve been more like what the Lullaby restoration team were doing, bringing in all of the missing assets and animations for the mod and only making new things if they weren’t able to access the original assets. All of these new characters and remastered sprites just seem like way too much and honestly some of the remastered stuff seem unnecessary anyways. Apart from maybe the Triple Trouble sprites (except Xenophane’s sprites) nothing really needed changing from either Triple Trouble, You can’t Run or Too Slow. Just seems like people are sort of looking past what makes the Sonic.EXE mod special, the nostalgic collection of creepypastas that we can all remember and celebrating any modern new ones that may have came afterwards. All of these new EXE’s, that are just (in my opinion) lazily designed and unnecessary, are one of the main reasons why the mod isn’t as well known anymore. It was washed out with way too much stuff and eventually got cancelled so none of it even mattered since the restoration is also cancelled.
Will this "restorating Sonic.exe" crap ever die. No like genuinantly, can we move on? The first restoration mod was fine, but it can't just constantly keep going. Look, I myself have moved on, I'm just looking forward to play Impostor v4 the most. Sonic.exe looked promising, it got canceled because of drama and then it got revived and it felt complete, can we leave it at that?

Will this "restorating Sonic.exe" crap ever die. No like genuinantly, can we move on? The first restoration mod was fine, but it can't just constantly keep going. Actually Xeno plane needs a remastered and I think I can fix that I could turn them something really that no one else could not reform him I'm going to transform him to have that X symbol on his chest just too high HD upgrade him so he could be more terrifying so everyone else could have a jump scare with him I probably will add some red rings or soul gem rings to dodge the attack
