No way you just criticized the siesta lol, it shouldn’t affect work since it should be out of work hours when people are taking the nap and besides that it is a good 20 minutes to 1 hour to sleep and recuperate the energy you spent in the day.

Maybe some small shops close during lunch time, but that is not siesta, they can't just afford to hire someone so they break the working day in two halfs, but most of them work long hours.
Not unless you’re a toddler or a retired person. If we do, it’s after our shift. Example: my dad works from 7 AM - 3 PM and takes a nap from 5-6pm when he is OFF work.
