    I had Prostate cancer in 2019. I had radiation to treat the cancer. I started TRT in 2020 and still on it to this day. My PSA test has been .8 for years. I feel so much better about life.

      How did you know you had prostate cancer? What were the signs?

    The alteration of the testosterone / estrogen ratio with the decrease of testosterone and the increase of estrogen constitutes a risk for prostate cancer. Great interview!

    I am one of those guys who are taking testosterone after definitive treatment for PC. PSA has stayed steady at 0.04ng/ml or less since starting this treatment 8 months ago. I would have been very Low-T without it, in the range where prostate cancer cells grow best, as shown in in vivo and in vitro research. Some doctors are stuck in the previous century about this stuff. Find one who isn't.

    I’ve had so many fights about this. Doctor ego on this is a never ending battle. They’re so stuck on that 1 study from the 40s. They care more about them being right than patient care.

    I think his theory on testosterone is correct. I also believe there is a link between low levels of vitamin D and prostate cancer

    MDs stopped treating their patients decades ago.
    Now a days MDs are more drugdealers than anything else.
    Sell this amount of Testosterone blocking pills and be rewarded with fancy conferences, trips to exotic locations and so on.

      I agree 100%. The pharmaceutical companies came up with this idea back in 1971. They invest in millions of dollars to come up with this so-called "SCAM" ( in my opinion). And they set reps to the doctors to pedal their ADT!!!!! Lowering testosterone will give you so many side effects. I would think that you would want your body to remain strong not weak! I am about to take proton therapy for my prostate cancer and I am going to refuse all hormone treatments! I don't believe it at all!!

    PCA treated two years ago PSA dropped from 3.4 to 1.06 but doctors will not prescribe TRT my testosterone level without TRT is below 25 which is extremely low. I had to go to a clinic and not give all history so I can get TRT which I have been on since before and after SBRT This is wrong but doctors are very meek just look at how the DEA has bullied them. Anyone know a doctor other then Morgenthaler who will prescribe? I am in NYC

    Thank you for this video. I'm happy to learn test does NOT cause cancer! I'm 55 years-old and considering TRT, but I also had an LAD heart attack six years ago. Since that happened so long ago, I wonder if I can safely pursue TRT.

      Before you try TRT. Maybe try and increase your testosterone naturally because when you come off TRT you will have even natural testosterone levels.

      Change your diet first. Try low carb and eventually switch to carnivore. These are all diet related disorders. These are symptoms of underlying issues that doctors are always baffled by and will only prescribe medications to mask up your symptoms.

    Is it because of the testosterone converting into dht by the 5ar enzyme. Proscar which is a 5mg version of finasteride is given to prostate cancer patients. I think dht is the prime culprit of prostate cancer.

      Proscar is not routinely given to prostate cancer patients. It’s for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Ie, enlarged prostate.

    • @derrickbyal8462
      @derrickbyal8462 Před 9 měsíci

      @MilkBone3327 there are three types of estrogen in men. One of them is causative or potentially causative in PC. The supplement DIM balances the estrogen to favor the good strogens in men.

    • @schmingusss
      @schmingusss Před měsícem

      I think you are correct. Finasteride lowers DHT creating an androgen "desert" in the prostate. When the Finasteride is stopped, the androgens flood back and whatever survived the androgen desert will grow like crazy.

    So I had EXTREMELY liw testosterone...back 20 or so years ago. It took my doctor CLOSE TO A YEAR..to find out that that was what was killing me. It took years for my level to come to even a low range.
    So my PSA level was higher than normal..they did a horrid 12 probe biopsy. One of the 12 showed cancer. He said it is the kind that can be OBSERVED. The last biopsy showed it WAS UNCHANGED, and my PSA was 4.5-4.9.
    My testosterone is STILL LOW..4.2. My physician refused to give me testosterone treatment, and said my urologist has to make that decision.
    Do you think its safe for me to start testosterone therapy again???

      Reschedule another blood test and ask the doc to take a look at your testosterone values again, 1 week before your test, take 3mg of tren acetate, every day up to the day of the test, this will temporarily drop your natural testosterone value to near zero, the doc will be forced to put you on T then since your numbers are irrefutably too low
