Thanks to Vangoa for sponsoring this video. Let me know what you think. 😎👍
I’m a big fan of pedalboards with it’s own power supply and this would be a perfect fit for a secondary board for me. Love the design and the price!!! 🎸🎸😎😎🤙🏾🤙🏾
Your reviews are professionally produced and very impressive. You are the go to guy for both music and photography 📸 information. Great job Shane 👏 👍 keep it up
Those LED lights, as you say, should have been a built-in tuner. Why on earth didn't they think of that? Still, this is a great price.
My thought exactly!! Who needs more blinding lights on their board.
It looks like a great little board Shane. Awesome that it has the power supply built in.
If you are like me and don't like placing Velcro permanently (either on pedals or pedalboards), you can always use blue painter's tape (or similar equivalent) on the pedal and / or board, attach the Velcro to it, then if you want to remove it, when you pull the Velcro off, the blue painters tape comes with it so there is no damage done to either the pedal or pedalboard, resulting in a plus in selling, and most important for me, a major bonus in purchasing used equipment. (Having said all that, I actually prefer using pedalboards that attach with zip-ties, which explains why I hate attaching Velcro permanently.) I am not necessarily a fan of the LED's (keep in mind I'm "OLD" like in 2 to 3 times the age of most watching Shane's videos) but that doesn't mean I hate them, either. I'm sure there are tons that will find it a plus. This is definitely a nice pedalboard. The Discount Code is fantastic! Thank you to Vangoa for giving it to you to give to us! Another great demo, review, and video, Shane. Please keep them coming.
I like flashy shiny things so those led lights are AWESOME!!!!! Great board with the built in power supply. Thanks Shane!!!!
A tuner would be very handy for that size board, totally agree. Should be standard fare now on these pedal boards. All since losing button battery tuners (Safety); and now having rechargeables for headstock tuners (Hassle).
It should have a flip out wall plug so that an extension cord plugs directly onto the board. Those wall wart power supplies emit tons of noisy RFI signals creating noise. They are crap.
I’ve tried a few of their boards before and they are quality. Great review Shane! I agree, they should have put a tuner in that board instead of those lights!!!!
Cool video and board. Rock on.
Pretty cool board. The lights are a bit gimmicky. But does set it apart. Thanks for the upload Shane.
Great video Shane and I really like that pedal baord and ya tha twould ahve been great if they had made that LED a tuner for sure. Think I might have to pick one of these up thanks for the review! Cheer's from the U.S.A
Actually pretty cool. I hope they make a larger version, or several larger boards. Especially if they add 18v power options. I like to run my drive pedals at 18v, so if each power output had an option for 18v's I'd buy one in a heartbeat.
exactly what I've been looking for. I hope the power supply is nice and quiet.
Thanks shane
Cool concept. What would make this perfect (in addition to the tuner idea) build in switchable buffer after that input jack, and build in the power supply which currently lives in the wall wart so you can use a standard power cable with no wall wart.
I love this little board , and like the LED lights even if it is Gimicky
Amazon has lots of great pedal boards. One is a road case kind, which are usually pretty pricy, but they have one that is just over $100 US. The board has 2 handles on it and it pops right out of the case. Very convenient. I work in a wood shop so I just built my own, but I have quickly out grown it so time to move on.
After just buying a Pedaltrain Classic and mounting a One Spot CS12 at close to $400, then dealing with routing cleanly, I absolutely love the integrated iso power supply. A larger board with a few 18v or, even better, variable would make it really attractive. Not a fan of the LED bar but maybe a switchable LED gooseneck type light so I can see pedal settings in a dark environment. Love the sleek look though.
I was thinking the tuner idea as well. Would definitely add to price but great idea.
For sure. It's a practical thing that would save up space on the board. :)
Not having at least 1x 18v is a miss I think. I have pedals with option 9/18v power but my Wampler Tape Echo, which I love, only runs on 18v
Would like to see the on/off switch being recessed in the body.
Hmmm, it makes me wonder during the meeting on designing this, if there was meant to be some other feature for those LED lights? Seems a strange addition.
The length of the power cable is a bummer, but I can understand why it’s only that long. With electricity through a cable, it has a certain amount of “drag” which slows or reduces the power supply. I believe there is a equation per mitre (I’m not an electrician)
In an effort to probably keep the price point lower, they’d go for that style instead of going for something longer that could possibly cause an issue with the pedals? But that’s just a guess.
Looks like a nice unit though!
Yeah, NOT bad!
Nice product. Shane, do yo know if the power supply is really isolated? If so, it must be the switch mode technology? Or is it really a daisy chain type thing? And is the in/out true bypass? Buffered? Thanks
I emailed the company asking these questions. For those interested, here's their reply:
"Thanks for your inquiry. Yes, the power supply is isolated. Technically speaking, the outputs are isolated by the secondary windings of the transformers inside. The negative pins of the outputs are not connecting to each other. In conclusion, this isolated power supply is switch mode, and regarding the input and output of the signal, it is buffered.
If you have any questions, please feel free to let me help.
Best regards,
Cleo"
i know, probably a poor question for you, but I love watching you and have grown to trust.
after severe front and back neck surgeries, my doc says in about 2/3 months I can once again start beating out songs on my guitars.
i am NOT an electric player, but somebody who has been writing songs on acoustics.
but I WANT, no....need to start playing/writing with an electric.
i feel a hollow body is the best step for an always acoustic player...and lots of times I write sitting in front of the tv or on the back porch....not wanting to dsitrub everybody in the room or neighborhood.
what would you best hollow or semi hollow be for a song writer and under these above writing environments?
In our mutual issues, a Squier Thinline Telecaster is PERFECT.
Best wishes.
Wishing you many better days ahead my friend.. hope you are healing well..I got the Epiphone es339 inspired by Gibson line semi hollow and it's awesome...the build quality and quality components and materials are way above the price point...I paid 550 plus tax brand new and 159+ tax for killer epilite hard case... Check out Sweetwater and good luck to u my man
@@ericwarrington6650 many, many thanks.
i have been doing research...since that is pretty much all I can do now, and there are about 5/6...maybe up to seven if I expand my spend.
i actually got really scolded by my wife cause while out getting sun on my wounds, I simply could not help but pick up my mini Taylor with the Tonewood device I had purchased for the backside.
are you aware of this, have you heard of it??????
felt no real pain, except in the rear neck strain. but that was a 9 in cut down my neck...will take time.
i even found a weird guitar....G5420T Electromatic® Classic Hollow Body Single-Cut, but now I am dreaming at well over 1500.00.
I will go look at your idea again. itis on my list.
@@paulpellico3797 man ..sounds rough..wish u the best..the 339 is much smaller than the 335 and has a wonderful tone to the probucker pups..neck is extra creamy when rolled back on vol pot...good luck buddy

The lights are so gimmicky. The built in power is a great idea.
I did buy a cheap Korg Pitchblack rackmount tuner that I intend to build into a pedalboard once I sort of figure out how many pedals I normally use and what size board I need.
LED kinda distracting for me =)
Too bad it doesn't come with a power-doubling cable to jumper two outputs, allowing you to run a more power-hungry pedal (> 100ma).
Exactly what I thought
100ma ? not enough for some of my 9v pedals
Which pedals need more than that at 9v?
@@intheblues I know I have one that's 300ma at 9v
Promo code no longer works. 😩
Ah damn, sorry about that - thanks for letting me know I'll remove it from the description.
Wow.. why would you make a pedal that's only ALMOST fully "complete" and give it an external power supply?! Whyyy?
Sold out everywhere
What are the bloody dimensions. Fail!
