Start small and work my way through it. Most of the videos I uploaded are about helping others become a Registered Nurse here in the UK.
How to live and work abroad, literally just showing my everyday life and struggles as a nurse.
Living abroad means I have to leave my family back home.
This is one way of updating them and showing them my day to day life. As said earlier, I am new to making content, that is why I post atleast once a week.
Life is a bit busy and I am a full time nurse but I will try my best to upload more videos as often as I can. Rest assured these videos will be fun and enjoyable. And hopefully you'll join me on these journey.

Apologies for the late reply. For you to be more faster and quicker with any procedure, you need to know the marking criteria and of course, PRACTICE. It is the key really. =)

@Nurse Niezl This is extremely helpful. Are we to memorize everything on the chart or we would have the chart with us on exam day
The charts are going to be available to you. But it's better if you already know what to do/write whether the patient has no risk, moderate risk or high risk.

Hii mam... If patient have no oral intake for more than 5 days... The nutritional requirements achieved through iv fluids or tube feeding what is the score in step 3 .... Is it 0 or 2 ...

Hi..i have a doubt ,along with the must scenario we have to fil the NEWS chart also ryt?
At which part of the assessment we have to start doing the must chart ,is it after Exposure?

If the scenario is.. in the carehome ..bmi score is 2 and weight loss score is 2.. and the scenario mentions patient is acutely ill. But doesnt mention nutritional intake.. i asked the assesor if does the pt have any nutritional intake for more than 5 days.. but she told me everything is written.(written acutely ill) so wat wud be the score? 2 or 0?
2 cos it’s is likely to affect the nutrition.
If this is the case, then STEP 3 is scoring 2

@@nurseniezl patient can be acute ill ..but maybe on ngt or tpn… and according to bapen this cases where score of 2 is happening unlikely outside the hospital.

no need to write what you are about to say. Everything is in the chart. and the marking criteria is almost the step by step of the MUST. All you need to do is practice.
If a patient is said to be vomiting frequently, has not eaten for more than 5 days. What is the score for this under step 3
Step 2, especially if they add that he's acutely ill(vomiting) and hospitalised

Hi there. According to the marking criteria of the MUST Tool.
Score 2 if the patient is acutely ill AND there has been or is likely to be no nutritional intake >5 days.
I suggest, you read the prescription/ scenario carefully.

Thank you for your videos which helped alot. I recently did my exam in Leeds but failed 1 Station.
I failed the Nutritional assessment station. The patient had a height of odd figure of 1.61m. I wasn't sure how to record it.
Please i need clarification on how to calculate the BMI if the height is odd number such as 1.51, 1.53, 1.65, 1.67 and so on.
