Max Ochester - linktr.ee/BTownBeats - was able to get me the AMAZING opportunity to interview - Mr. Lee Fields - at his HOUSE and he was so gracious with his time and telling us his story talking about his amazing discography. We talked about past records he created all the way back to Bedford Records and then onto Desco Records and meeting Phil Lehman and Gabriel Roth - who then went on to start Soul Fire Records and Daptone Records. Lee has also worked extensively with Leon Michels - El Michels - with Big Crown records - he is a legend - I cant believe I got this chance - please watch!

The Monophonics opened up for Lee Fields a couple months ago up in Denver, but I went to the show the night before in Colorado Springs. I did finally get a couple Lee Fields records finally lol. My world is probably my favorite from him. Truly a soul legend, and from the video of the concert, he looks like he still got tunes on electricity and energy in him. Great interview brotha man. Music helps everyone I believe. There's a song for good times, bad times, special times, and everything in between. I have songs that are special to me for each one of my kids, music is just a great thing. Much live brotha man. Always remember your the shit
