    Episode 22/22 Best known for 'Nelson's Ship in a Bottle', which appeared on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, Yinka Shonibare MBE is one of Britain's foremost contemporary artists, rising to fame as part of the 'Sensation' generation along with Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin in the early 1990s.

    I like that he makes points with genuinely pleasant images. Art can be instructive without being dreary.

    Wonderful artist, his sense of fun and the leap into the decorative is amazing. Yinke Shonibare is an artist who is constantly mixing up his practice, his work, and pushing his boundries. His work brings colour and life to the stage of history and past values and culture.

    Just watched this on BBC in Trinidad and again on You Tube. In impressive man! LOVE, love, love the work. Impressive. Miss being in Europe with accessibility to the culture.
