    This has got to be one of the most raw videos you have ever made. All the accumulative knowledge you have, just starts to add up to a methodical solution... good job! You could always do a chainsaw top end👽if you have time on your hands...

    That 110 bottom end has a 12mm pin in it ,,there good to use for the Phantom

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před rokem +1

      lol Phantoms are made just as badly as these if not worse in some cases! No crank can help them! I wish they stop making phantoms with such wide badly made ports. would be such a decent engine that would last a long time! Sadly all these ZMN100 rods like this one are always cut so badly! which also kills the poor phantoms pretty fast! Phantom has potential to be a monster! To damn bad the factory sends out lots bad parts in the kits

      @@BuildBreakFix they just came out with version 3 lol they sent me advertisements for it. So I sent a email to bicycle engine support because the new version cylinder is sapossod to have fixed the ring snag issue and the piston slap so my question was because they know of all the defects of version 2 can I send mine in and get a new version 3 cylinder free of all the defects and they said no it was worth a shot lol

    After I get my zeda 80 broke in and get it all tuned and get some miles on it I'm going to have to try the phantom 85

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před rokem

      Phantom 85 is okay! but be careful not to rev the hell out of it! I think that is what kills 99% of them just not made to go super crazy high rpms on. A guy here has stock one Version 1! Changed out brass bushing to bearing brass and the thing has 1000+ miles on it now. but he only rides it like 3/4 throttle at most and that still is fast as hell lol 44mph!

    • @Westhelockpicker
      @Westhelockpicker Před rokem

      @@BuildBreakFix I would go full throttle here and there but 44 mph ain't impressive I hit 42 mph on a pk80 but it only had a 32 tooth sprocket and it depends on how fast you get there too

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před rokem

      @@Westhelockpicker lol 44 will get you killed just fine! Well can tell you now if you don't have sealed bearings in your wheels disc brakes And e bike rated tires and H type rear chain lol don't do it cause you will die really fast when axle or chain takes out the rear wheel! lose 9 ball wheels are only made to go up to 40mph for short durations! The mag wheels are death sentence over 40mph!

    Another great video how come you used the Philips screws under the clutch basket how come you didn't change them out to Allen head screws just curious . And did you balance the crank like you usually do?

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před rokem

      The pockets are not deep enough. Heads of bolts would hit clutch. Only 3mm under each bolt head! Not much room to drill it deeper!

    Bicycle engines sent me a 110 case on one side and us on the other side clearly because the cylinder was twisted and the cases didn’t line up and they had drilled new holes like idk how they managed that

    • @BuildBreakFix
      @BuildBreakFix  Před rokem +1

      finding a yd100 bottom end gasket is like finding a live unicorn with 2 horns LOL I know your pains! Yes you can use (RTV on it) If you use it! fully cover the whole surfaces! about 1/16 of an inch. Put your two halves on the crankshaft and lightly tighten it up with the bolts! for first hour let it sit! then tighten everything down snug! They will never leak! Don't wipe anything off before it fully dries! just use a wire brush after all extra stuff comes right off like you never used it! from outside! I just use a little dremel wire brush in drill hit all slobber after it fully diers!

  • @MikeNBikes
    @MikeNBikes Před 10 měsíci

    Quick question, is it normal for the YD to come with the thicker crank webs? Is that some sort of standard? or was that just pure luck?
    At 16:40 you mention a "conversion pin" is that where you can run a 12mm piston on a 10mm rod? If so, where does one obtain one?
