I feel sorry for the beautiful lady who experienced this ordeal. I believe that the broken system in Africa allows individuals of higher rank and publicity to get away with numerous crimes. In the U.S., celebrities often escape punishment for their actions, but if there is solid evidence against them, the prosecution will pursue them, irrespective of their public standing.
Lily, let’s not forget that Ghanaians are not saints, so we have to admit that there are some bad people in Ghana as well, but probably not as much as it is believed to be in Nigeria. I think people need to speak up like she has done. Hopefully, it will help to minimize the bad treatments to some extent.
