As a ranger we did a lot of helicopter insertions in Afghanistan. It hasn't changed very much since Vietnam when it comes to getting boots on the ground as fast a possible.

What really hit hardest about Into the Fire is the fact on all versions I've heard, Spotify, youtube, etc, the blades of the helicopters are always present in the beginning. You get the vivid mental image of those Choppers flying, and just before it kicks you can almost see them getting ready to hit an LZ
You are right about the movie, it is easy to rewatch being so well done. Portrays both sides professionally and both home fronts - good reaction and good to see you back.

Hey V3t my mom has said that her step-dad had fought in the Vietnam war cause I showed her the video into the fire and she told me.
Very good song , movie . Also several years ago the real helicopter pilot called Snakeshit he got medal of honor for actions in the battle. Also they have book too about it with title how they got name for movie .
