While it is endlessly fascinating to see all this tradition, I am horrified that the troopers are still using hats made from bear fur. There are so many good looking faux bear fur products and all bear species are nearing extinction and I know the Royal family cares about our planet's survival,
I do hope something will be done about this. As a cancer survivor of nearly 30 years, I salute the King and Kate for showing that it is possible to go through treatment, survive & live your life while going through treatment. Kudos to Kate for donating her hair to make wigs for those who cannot afford to buy them. She always looks stunning.

Hello English friends, on this day of trooping colour, I would like to tell you that through the TV images I have shared with emotion the joy of seeing the wonderful Princess Kate again, as beautiful and elegant as ever. To King Charles and the Princess of Wales, my sincere wishes for strength and courage to continue their medical treatment, they are an example to all those suffering from cancer.
The Monarchy is mostly symbolic. It preserves historical Britain, is colorful and interesting, and gives the tabloids something to lie about. I’m an American, but I LIKE the British traditions. It would be sad to abolish them! It would be like abolishing the 4th of July, or Christmas. In any case, if the monarchy were abolished, the Royal Family would continue to be among the richest in the world. It would continue to own a big chunk of downtown London, in the very best neighborhoods! It will continue to own most of its castles and palaces, though deals will probably be made to eventually turn some of them over to the state. But I digress. I for one see no big problem in preserving the Monarchy as a tradition, without a great deal of political power.
It's how they survived. They adapted from an Autocracy to a Constitutional Monarchy. Except for 20 years when the Puritans thought they could do better (failed) there have always been King's and Queens and now there always will be

I love Kate as she is beautiful, graceful, and elegant. It's clear not only is she a strong woman, but a woman who loves and supports her husband and is a very hands-on great mom. I see in the next 2 years that William is becoming king and Kate is his queen. It's unfortunate that kate was pushed to acknowledge what is normally private health information. Kate 1st priority was her children husband , and she making sure she received the right treatment. I never believed megan accusations against Kate and the royal family. Racism is learned, and if Harry or the royal family was racist. Harry wouldn't have dated and married Megan to begin with. This was simply a private family issue among in laws that Megan sought to make public. Megan leaving royal life was a big mistake and, unfortunately, a great opportunity to help William and Kate modernize the monarchy. Megan biggest mistake was thinking her presence in the royal family was greater than it was. As well as prior to your wedding, not understanding the protocol, the royal family, and how things are done. The royal family are public servants and don't have outside employment. Their job is publicly serve, the same way in the US the president job is to serve the people. I was very glad to see Kate. William made a terrific choice in a wife and life partner.
