    Fall displays are so fleeting but wow! This is amazing! Seeing a woodland garden as it lights up is such a treat!

    Looking forward to a camellia episode.
    Where did David get the fence screen topper ~2:30?

    I had a dead tree explode from a lightning strike and it was shorter than that surrounding trees. Apparently, if a dead tree collects water in its trunk it has a good chance that lighting will strike that shorter tree.

    So spectacular, and unfortunately fleeting, although our garden, like David's, has benefitted from the weather conditions, with no heavy rain or wind to ruin the show.

    Gorgeous but your not saying how tall these trees get

      @BrieThePlantLady  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Well look at the height of the trees. They get different sizes in different locations. That’s a pretty tedious comment.

    Do you Paperbark maple’s grow well in your area? I live in the same climate and I am thinking of getting one but wasn’t sure if it would thrive.

    • @BrieThePlantLady
      @BrieThePlantLady  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Not really. I prefer Acer triflorum instead of Acer griseum for southeast gardens.

      I do grow one, and it's starting to look pretty good, but it lacks vigor for me.

    There's no such thing as having too many Japanese maples.
