  • In this video I show the technique I've used to dig live edge mulch beds around the trees in my lawn. This involves an edging shovel, a transfer shovel, a hula hoop, some spray chalk and some drip line stakes.
I also use the Pro Plugger (amzn.to/2VfvjKK) tool to get some grass plugs that I can use to fix problem spots around the lawn.
This is an easy process and creates a nice look without having to deal with plastic edging and stuff. although it does require some trimming when you mow. But it looks so nice it's worth the effort!

Thanks for the comments! Sorry for the late reply. I enjoy the Pest and Lawn Ginga. He’s in my area and we’ve become friends. I actually met him about a year ago when he did a video at my house.
Other good channels are Connor Ward, Ryan Knorr, and The Lawn Care Nut. They are probably the biggest in the space. Lawn Tips from Australia is good too. But actually, Ask This Old House has long been a favorite of mine.

@@DennisAroundtheHouse No problem. I am at 164 sub's and seems to go up a little better when you pass 100.
