- We spent two days in Great Smoky mountains national park. First we drove from Huntsville, AL and reached Gatlinburg, TN in 4hrs. Our journey started next day morning and drove all the way to Cherokee, NC. We spent night there and headed to Blue Ridge Parkway scenic drive.
1st day - Cherokee Orchard road, Alum Cave Bluffs, Inspiration Point, Newfound Gap, History Exhibit Overlook and Clingmans Dome.
2nd day - Cherokee, NC, Museum of the Cherokee Indian, Oconaluftee Visitor Center, Blue Ridge Pkwy scenic drive.
