Andrew Morton Hi Andrew. No, it was one of those wonderful little moments in live theatre. The MD had to react to something on stage which meant elongating a bar during the oboe solo. He was basically giving an appreciative high five to the oboist for going with it.
Oh my god! The way she sang her "soar" is so pure and bright! It's so pretty and brings out the image of Christine!
If this is a high school or college production, I am very impressed with this orchestra and how good the music sounds.

Is the pit on the stage where it usually is? How do you see the actors?
@@samueloliver-sherry-musici9171 By definition the 'pit is below the stage. There's a screen underneath the camera that the MD can use.
