- I was used to this method when I was playing hunter.
The trap kills monsters so quick and this means the higher EXP for every minute.
This kind of hunter's leveling was my nostalgia back in the day I was playing at IRO.
So, I'd like to make my own trap leveling video and make it as amusing as my previous works and I hope you enjoy it. - Hry

It take twice longer if you played on classic (2004), no such thing as "eden quest". Sure, it takes lots of time but was it worth it? hell yea..
Al De Baran was updated around episode 1.5 - 2.0 (can't remember). Me too, nostalgia hit with it. At the time I couldn't even survive inside the Clock Tower. Playing 6:00am until 10:00pm yielded only Lv39~ character. Ahh... good old days (lol)

I heard Ragnarok Zero has allowed different rebirth class too. So, maybe hunter is the best class to quickly pass the first 99.

How come she's so into leveling the chars in each ro original server? The exp its like 25% / 100% . Only jro shes into 150% my guess 🤔 seems shes so into ro i guess

Wow, the trapper Ranger. I've seen some of other's videos. They set their clusters around an enemy then use detonator to blast them at once to inflict massive damage and that's also interesting!

@@pdtRamon Do you know how long they have been open? I started playing Ragnarok Transcendence but I really dont like it at all, the layout of the world is way too confusing and I dont know how to level or make money there without doing things totally differently...
@@TheInterplanetary quite some time, like 5years+ and there they like to do things pretty old school, feels like 2002 ragnarok again. They are implementing things bit by bit , we just go soul linker and abyss lake last moth, we dont have nameless/thor and stuff. Try it out, worth a shot, trust me

This is by far the best made RO video of this entire year. I don't even play this, just watching videos and going down memory lane. If I can ask you, will you be trying out the new RE:Start server and doing guides there? From what I understand, that server does not have any of the Eden Group quests at all, just good old classic leveling. In any case, amazingly done video and well edited. Nice.

In JRO, I moved to many servers in groups below (while in the server selection screen) quite often. But now I'm mainly playing at Breidablik because more number of people = ease of finding many items. (hehe)

17½ hours over 3 days, 53 to 99? GROSS! lol
iRO changed so much... I played from 2003 to 2007. 4 years 5 months to be exact and I only ever got my knight 94.
I helped grind my beloved's falconer huntress from 93 to 98+(99.9%) in Nifelheim, which alone took *7½ months.*
I miss it so much, but sadly, I miss the RO that was pre-2007; This is no longer the RO I used to know. •́⩊•̀
I loved the old hard grinding too but I understand this hardship is becoming obsolete and less acceptable among most players due to the repetitive. Even the classic server at IRO gave me a quick way called "Jumping Janeway". I'm not sure if it still exists but it was something I lived years ago.
There's so many flaws if the game offers players a very hard grinding. Some people may not be able to keep up with their friends or even someone carelessly use bots.
One of the reasons why I left iRO (2007) was indeed because of bots (mostly zeny bots, "GM authorized" at that) and one of the worst MMO communities I've experienced. I couldn't take my knight leveling without having at least 2~3 rogue bots teleport in, gank/auto-steal, kill-steal my target, loot and teleport out. It became more stressful than fun. Game was so great, though. :(
Mine wasn't IRO but I completely understand how you felt. The stressful of seeing bots or KSed by everyone drove me beyond just a madness. lol
Yeah. :( I've had Angeling KS'd and looted (thankfully nothing of value), more times than I've actually defeated it. Never understood why they didn't target-lock monsters in combat with a player, like FFXI did. That would've solved so many issues right there. Oh, and _by-the-by,_ I quite enjoy your editing! The little animated sequences in between events are very enjoyable to watch! ⓛ⩊ⓛ/
It reminds me of all the months I spent killing turtles to get my monk to 99 only for transcendent classes to be released and to do it all over again...

How do u reccomend lvl as a rouge should i be doing quests? if so where
I remember when claymore trap stacking and shroom/plant stacking would crash the server and that crash would be used to dupe items lol
I played ro for a long time and never realize how good claymore traps are
Apparently the damage formulas of the trap were adjusted when the game mechanics were changed to Renewal. I quitted this game before the time because I had the most serious university entrance exam.
Great vid. Not sure how you could 1 hit KO monsters like ED with 16k hp, with 8k claymore/blast mine?
Even harpies, sleepers, goats have high hp.

There are reasons:
1. TI was boring for me since 2 years ago.
2. As a Hunter, my capability doesn't match the team's expectation. The best killer in this game is Ranger and Arrow Storm.
3. Slow-life party does exist but I'm a bit reluctant to join.
4. This video was planned to do a solo-leveling.
Maybe you ask why is it boring ?
because I'd been playing it for over 3 months and I felt I just login to game to play just only 1 thing (TI) and then log out...

At 9:30 how do you have 231 flee with only 57 agi and that gear? I have more agi, better Eden group gear on my hunter and still way below 200 flee.
My friend asked me this too. Apparently it's one of Renewal mechanic. I'm not sure about the math of this game but Flee in Renewal starts at 120~130 with Agi 1 while the pre-Renewal Flee was just Base Level + Agi and 250 Flee was the highest value a player could have.

hi mind to explain a bit? when to use land mine, blast mine, and claymore trap?
Also how is your trap dmg so big in level 63? i have the same int and same level claymore trap level, but i only hit 1.6k to sandman :(
- Since trap skills can't be used under enemy's standing position, my trick is to use them before they step closer to me.
- Heard from other who wonder about trap's damage. Pre-Renewal (old game mechanic in many classic servers) uses old damage formula for traps which deal much lower damage in Renewal (modern game mechanic on newer servers).

Yo,can u tell me what better,bow for trap damage Hunter bow +7 or arbalest +5
Afaik, the trap's damage is affected by Dex and Int, not atk from bow. So if you need as much damage as possible, Arbalest is your choice.
Don't forget to check out other bow and gears that increase Dex or Int.
How to dual client on servers/things that don't allow it.
Download and Open Sandboxie> Open the program you want to dual client in in Sandboxie

lol Roween Anopheles, hey I'm thinking of playing the game again after so many years. And I haven't tried out the cat race yet but before I plan to try the game again have iRO made any improvements quest wise? After playing games like FFXIV I realized that I really appreciate the MSQs and they show how my character grow and what my character's role is in the game. I left Black Desert simply because of the disjointed stories so I hope iRO made SOME effort within this decade.
The best leveling way in IRO is the TI (Turn In Quests) which welcome Lv70 or higher characters.
I'm not sure how long haven't you played this game. I guess you might see many improvements on Eden Group Quests or Bounty Boards. I'd suggest the IROWiki website if you'd like to know more.
MSQs = Main Scenario Quests ? I think ... mm... this game still uses the grindfest model.
That sucks lol. I don't really care about leveling as much so it's not a priority. Sucks thats it's been out for a decade and they still didn't improve the msqs aspect. I mean what else IS there other than to log in..kill things..until you exhaust yourself? I want to know the story and how my character plays a role in the game. Atleast its an alternate..and there's certainly no crafting or cultivating profession in this game. Bummer.
I saw your other videos about the japanese server and they look like they offer more quests than iRO. Was hoping that they did something similar but I guess not.
Yeah, I watched RO review video made by RPGFanatic long ago. I agree that grindfest model encourages botting (My friend told me too). That's why modern games like WOW offer story quests that's not just killing respawning monsters.
I was thinking about writing a topic about Japanese RO's Adventurer Academy but there're so many detail I must read and I just don't have enough time. (I'm currently busy editing new RO videos without sleeping hahaha)
Yeah I hope iRO gets some kind of revamp but this weekend I'll try out the new race and class. I hope something is new other than going straight to killing mobs to get to cap level.

Thank you. Japanese RO blocks connection that comes outside Japan. Account confirmation by phone is also required before any payment. (JRO isn't a free2play server.) This won't allow foreigners to get in because phone numbers are only (legally I believe) allowed for people inside Japan.

Does agi had something to do with the trap damage? Or what is it for?
No it doesn't. It just helps when I have to walk around to dodge, to expand some gap between me and the target to allow me to place a trap easier.
Improve Concentration also helps if Agi is high enough, the number of Agi increased will be scaled.
Does claymore split damage now? Or is the lower damage a radius issue?
Claymore Trap's damage is halved by number of enemies hit. So if my Claymore Trap does 10,000 damage and 2 enemies get hit, they will receive 5,000 damage (And 3300 for 3 and so on.)

500 maybe... Sorry, I'm not actually sure. The Str is low. If I remember, it should be ~500 to avoid the overweight. Some people use SP recovery items and mind only the 90% overweight which makes character unable to fight.

Yeah... I did too and the damage was surprisingly low. I asked my friend and realized the damage formula for traps was updated since Renewal.

It will work if you play on official servers but maybe not on private servers.
