Hi! For some reason, I do everything correctly and can record a VO but the actual green clip doesn't appear when I press space bar to stop the recording. Do you know how I can fix this? I'm used to using Final Cut pro. This is my first time recording a voice over in Premiere. I just needed to know where to click and record and you told me in less than 30 seconds. Subscribed.
I know it doesn't necessarily help you to make the beginning of the video exactly what I need before you get into detail, but that is a serious sign that you care about your viewers instead of yourself. Good job my friend. You must be an honorable chap!

I don't have the" r" option in the audio mixer. and my "voice-over record settings" is also greyed out. my microphone is showing up and is set in the audio hardware. any tips?
I used this today while making a tutorial! I said something wrong in screen flow and just did direct voiceover in Premiere to fix it, wouldn't have known about it if you didn't make this video. Thanks!

great idea to show that one button so if thats all you want you can go somewhere else quick - quite often i need 1 quite advanced thing which is the title of the video - only to watch 5 minutes of how to find a file in filemanager and how to drop it on the timeline ! - yeah! I knew how to do that 45 years ago :)

Personally I use the Shure SM7B with the cloudlifter, but that can be a bit much for some.
Equitek E100s with an audient interface.
