- Slow TV sailing is meant to be watched in the background at the office, workshop, or home. Put on, sit back and enjoy!
After an 8 day sail from the Azores Mr. Brady went up the mizzen mast and turned on the GoPros! The 2 hours of RAW sailing footage ends with us pulling up to the dock in the Canary Islands!

This is our story, a story of four souls sailing around the world. It is a story about sailing and travel and adventure. But it's also a story about meeting amazing people and making life long friends. It's a story of people living their lives in an alternate way, in close connection with the beautiful people and amazing planet that we call home. Our experience has affected us so profoundly we want to share it, hoping that others may find inspiration to follow their dreams and do what they love.

There is a comment Lisa made a couple of years ago while hand steering across the Atlantic on one of her many night shifts. She said it was impossible to put into words the joy she felt, being on Delos, in the middle of the ocean, in the middle of the night, the moon shining bright and the wind in your face. The absolute freedom of it. There is no other feeling on Earth like it and nowhere else she would rather be. These long videos bring that to my mind every time. Hugs and kisses Lisa.
Loved the natural rythmic sounds of Delos doing her thing
I know that SLOW TV is not for everybody.. But I really like them
Nothing better than beating in calm seas at hull speed.
Love the boat noise it shows the power of the wind
Wow, this is the most peaceful thing you can listen to/watch/absorb.
Hi Victoria I’ve been following SV Delos for years.I now am a member of the tribe.

This has been the most absolutely amazing way to start a Saturday, on the big screen, surround sound, sun shining, live it, love it. 1
⛵I must say it takes bravery to go up that Mast underway in the wind. I'm afraid I could not do that. But I guess if you're going to be a captain you have to be able to do everything needed on a boat. You have my respect. Wishing you safe sailing.
I love these videos. Turn it on and go to bed...
Love this style of sailing, nice vibe
The thing about SLOW TV is that is the most attractive to me. I just want to "beam" onto SV Delos and ride along.
love these slow motion ,specially the sound!
Nice to see just sailing and normal life going on ,no talking just letting time go by .
Smoking some homegrown whilst watching the most amazing peeps. Easy peasy.
I love SLOW TV. It really makes you feel like you're there!
Set It & Forget It......... Perfect for my busy work life in the office just to Chill Out and have this play in the back ground. Thanks y'all......
Love these. I play these on a loop for a few days when the come out on the extra monitor for my computer. Really relaxing. Thanks!
Such a beautiful boat----a perfect sail here,really nice speed,hauling a
The pleasure of your posts is everyone's interactions; such fascinating people and activities. Watching you underway is bleh.
Please change the channel until you are happy with their content.
@@wendynyman That is the plan. They had given warning by calling it slow TV and had I taken notice of that, I would have been off and hoping for them to post again soon. I love spending time with them. My grumpiness was uncalled for, so my apology to all of who enjoy their videos and interesting lives.
I enjoy the parts where they are adjusting the sails and performing the necessary operations of a sailboat. When I'm not at sea and away from my sailboat, it allows me not to forget as much.
Smooth sailing, Be cool to see some instrument readings heading, boat speed, AWS, ETC, Get on it Blue LOL
Nice job guys... Like a well oiled Machine!
Delos takes its proper spot right at the bar!
Every now and then i rewatch these. I realy like the gopro gymbal on the mast shoot.
I've been using these to meditate in the evening. thanks.
I loved this. So peaceful. The sights and sounds were the best therapy I have gotten in a long time. Thank you. 😊
thanks Brady for putting in the effort to get this awesome footage.....
I LOVE THIS. THANK YOU
Love those slow videos thank you guys
Please more of those! Maybe once a month? ❤️
Thanks for making this. It’s beautiful!
Love this.
Ahhh, the mariners bar. I’ve spent a few hours in there on my trips. The owner is a gem.
Love this. Thanks
As much as I love you guys,I like these slow vids to help me fall asleep after a tough day. Very peaceful.❤
I finally saw all of it after 7 times. I keep falling asleep.
Smooth Sailing.....So Far.....Incredible.....to be with you .....in Spirit.....via utube.....Amen
Excellent, Waldport Or......... Cheers
Brian is an excellent captain...he runs a very good ship...a potential sailor could learn a lot from the Delos crew.
Omg, I set up a traditional old school lamp projection of this vid onto a 100” diagonal 16:9 screen. At hires it’s like freaking being on board Delos, about to invade the Canarie, as the islands were probably seen for hundreds of years. And off to my left a real-time sunset over the Hudson river Crazy in a fun way. Amazing that we can even experience this. Just stunning. I can only say thank you for letting me join in.
Mash Code in my
Relaxing sounds wow
Who would have thought that the channel could have survived without Bryan amd Karen????? Can't wait to see them back on Delos with the little sailor....
We watched this before the Premier, and at the same time dreaming of summer sailing
Thank you for posting this. I love these videos, they are totally relaxing. I play them on a large screen monitor on the wall and imagine I'm on-board. Lovely stuff!
Very relaxing. Thank you
Beautiful work. Great sailing skills on display...
Watching this video carries me as if I were there. Beautiful waves. I like it
Hella relaxing. Hello from Des Moines, Iowa USA.
Thanks Guys, I really appreciate all of yours videos. All the Best. Jacques, Quebec.
I have a friend who's a sloth and he really like these SV Delos Slow TV videos! : - ) Scott W
haha
Who else knows me ?
Watching and listening to this, and participating in other types of similar activities is proven to reduce stress and relieve hypertension. Seriously. Not only visually beautiful but good for your health as well. But at some point I ruin it by getting a little jealous.
Молодцы, спасибо за видео. Успехов.
Great for some relaxing background noise while working from home!
What a great video. The best one in a while. Loved to hear the wind and all the gear creaking and straining. Brings back a ton of memories for us. Many thanks. Fair winds always. George & Debby Brady, Texas City, TX.
Beauty Mates, Just the facts.
This is dope
Thank you, this is awesome. Whilst working towards my own dream I've found playing this in the background to be super soothing, motivating, affirmationeee. i dunno, i like it! Thank you. You guys truly are an inspiration. I wish all well on your new chapters and if you're ever in the Solent on the South Coast of England and need anything just ask. Peace
Nice video! Now that’s a great sailing video!
I am entranced. Under a spell...This is intoxicating...
I love the slow videos so much. I dream of sailing someday, and to get the unedited version - the gradual. slow, relatively uneventful version - I love it.
Slowing life down, paying attention to the wind, setting a course - I've never done it. I envy you guys. But maybe someday...
Glad you like them!
We’re sitting here eating pizza & bevs at the south end of Lake Huron waiting for sailing season and just chillin and watching this. Thanks Bro’s
same.
Very nice :D
I like it.
Feels more "real"
They’re Hauling Ass!..over 10-12kts at times. A nice Close-Hauled Portside Tack & Goooo! Get It while the wind’s perfectly humming the stays.
Sitting up here atop the mast just enjoying the day I'm thinking it'd be a cool place for the 360 cam. I don't know how big that camera is or if it's even feasible to bring that camera up here. Would also be interesting to see data overlays with wind speed, heading, position, and the like. Scrolling through the comments I see I'm not the first with either of these ideas but I always enjoy the SLOW TV episodes.
Yep nice view from my backyard
i sit back and just watch for fun.....360 cam would be Amazing!!!!

tack at 1:47:30 great stuff as always 👍🏻
I'm wondering why you don't post the date of your filming? It's not like we don't know that they aren't from today or yesterday. Especially the ones when you were in the Azores. It would have been nice to know how close you were to the timing of the hurricane, also nice to know for vacation planning. Love your channel, been watching it for years.
I've always wished they would post the dates
Oh, and btw, while you are sailing the world, why don't you learn some math from my channel? :)
Sharing is caring.
Wowww Very beautiful 😃😍👍
Just sweet and easy sailing. I could do that.
I saw that piece of line and whatever being thrown twice across the decks. One law in seaman- ship is "A place for everything and everything in it's place"
Isn’t Slow TV a Norwegian thing? This is the perfect version for America.
I like these. I like to turn it on and just listen.
i listen to it for background noise while working but watch it as well at times.
A suggestion? I think some wind-proofed mics spread around the cockpit and cabin could be used to edit dialog to make these sorts of videos a lot more interesting. Your audience would like to know your decisions, sail changes, heading corrections and strategy as you approach land. It would make these GoPro shots more fun and also educational? There are always new microphone systems coming out each year (NAB is almost upon us!) that tout their use as field mics. Delos field-testing could demonstrate wind noise dampening and weather resistance. Should find a sponsor easily? Just an idea! : ). Dorian
I don't know, I kind of just like the pure atmos feeling of the video (even though the sound track does sound a bit too fake lol)
1:31:02 Brady looses his hat 😀😀
Sean didn't worry.
18:54- Sailing Brotha’. Woooo
Good vibes to Brian and Kazza.
port to port my friend ;)
use headset, play videos, closeyoureeyes and enjoy the ocean sound..
I like really like this, I can daydream.
Watched all the Delos vids maybe twice, and maybe I’m blind, but it’s the first time I see the “jib car” used at 1h48 mins. Since you don’t have the traditional rails on deck I was always wondering how you do it
👍👍👍👍👍
On the sailing channels that I follow, sailors put down in-furling sales in general. Do you find that you lose speed with the in-furling sail? I just watched the whole 2 hours and I love it. I miss my sailboat terribly.
ILike it :))
I just used a segment for my VM, the wind, the sea
Try casting this on a 4k 104" screen.......dam!!!!!! You are in for a treat⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵
fairwinds from the @captains.chair
Delos Crew...I hope you never stop making these. They seem to pop up right when you need some R&R. Thanks!! :)
GREAT! Hay Blue, I'm curios now about a long exposure like the first shots from this film. Same shot but long exposure like people do of rivers and waterfall, how would it look?
At the beginning of the video and judging from the wind direction, this looks as though you are sailing on a port tack and somewhere between close hauled and a beam reach....but probably closer to close hauled judging at how tight your sails are pulled in.....am I right?.....oh and incidently, the boat looks like it's sailing well-balanced...and it's cutting through the waves pretty well with hardly any rolling...at least it looks that way from the video....
Interesting to see you sailing with your Jenny out and a reefed mizzen but no main. If you could remain on the Imel but make it a sloop instead of a catch, would you? What have you found is the added utility of the mizzen?
Do you have a Gimble on the camera? The picture is very smooth!! :)
OMG THERE'S ANOTHER ONE!!!! AHHH!!! I must've passed out from the first one and must be dreaming there's a second one
Please do a Slow TV again - I slept, studied and worked to this relaxing sound.
Gotta tighten the leach line or job block forward...ya think?
oooh - the Roller Furling motor on the head stay sounds "crunchy".... at around 2 hour mark....
You seem to be on a broad reach, but no Mizzen sail up. I would think this would not balance very well. Does Delos not get any weather helm under this setup?
Gliding through the water, the problem is that I can't stop watching and I need to work!
thank you
