- 3 Shetland ponies joined us for a little Bit of schooling, and one for training from scratch! Of course when you have 3 shetlands that can carriage drive it would be rude not to put together some different formations! Tandem, random, pick axe and unicorn, as well as a couple of pairs combinations! Anyone who knows there horsey myths will know there is nothing scarier than a shetland chestnut mare..... apart from 3 of them!

Motivation training for a shetland pony, I love it! Must be the colour, but I drive a chestnut miniature shetland mare as well and must keep things interesting. Otherwise she tends toward quiet quitting, too. I liked your very hands on approach and the thinking outside the box, the pony probably thought it was her idea to be more motivated and do her share of the work 😂 shetlands are so much fun if you donˋt let them outsmart you 😉

No probs with baler twine here. My friend ..who lived in Iran for awhile.. got caleed 'The Sultana of String' because of her enthusiasm for twine.

Love this, and I'm a baling twine fan too. How is it connected to the end of the traces in the tandem hitch? Tried to slow the video down to see.
It's threaded through the hole in the trace and tied to the next horse
