    What gets me is how they didn’t know how to act or behave towards women in the work place when women first started working. What the hell does that mean?? How do you treat your wife, daughter and mother? With respect, like a human being with their own thoughts and feelings. Not that hard to Treat others how we like to be treated and spoken to.

      Its not that simple. This same shit also happened on army, navy, air force. Where man has all the post. If a woman turn out to be the captain then man will never follow. It take time to adjust.
      There is a simple example out there. Those who always studied at boys or girl school. When this kids involve into co education for the first time. We know how uneasy this kids act. Some of this kids dont know how to talk. They grew up on one rule n then the whole rule changed suddenly. It take time to adjust.

      Most people are selfish assholes who don't care about other people's needs and feelings, that is the common denominator in most of our problems as a species! 😟

      You wanna talk about an individual woman who affected societal attitudes about sexual harassment and how women are treated when they speak out about the harassment perpetrated against them, I can’t think of someone more transformative than Anita Hill.
      I took the time to watch her entire testimony, it’s riveting and her treatment by a committee full of men was despicable.

    It must be disappointing for the people
    who fought for something to stop since the 70’s and to see that’s it’s still happening decades later.

    As a woman who has endured my own fair share of sexual harassment in the workplace, watching the way those congressmen spoke to Anita Hill is infuriating. Ugh! These “men” - the harassers and their frat bros in crime, aka defenders - are an embarrassment to humans everywhere. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

      @Corno di Bassetto you act as if prostitution was a purely female business, which it is not. Most of the girls are exploited by (male) pimps, and (male) customers. So why don't you direct your crusade towards them first?
      by the by, male prostitutes also exist. and your 'rules' are arbitrary. go to a football match, face paint doesn't have to have anything to do with sex.
      and please don't shout like an imbecile, unless you consider yourself one.

    This is like asking why crime and murder don't stop or go away.
    People are going to commit crimes or sexually assault someone because it's one of the terrible facts of life. It happens regardless of people's knowledge of it being wrong or a crime. People do what they want out of selfishness, greed, or a desire for power and control.
    That's sadly never going to change.

    “many men are threatened and confused at the presence of women in the workplace” well you’re probably threatened because there’s a woman who can do your job better than you can

    • @shanedavis3418
      @shanedavis3418 Před 5 lety +1

      No men are threatened because now it seems like more cases of false accusations are coming out than credible allegations, and if you get falsely accused and end up convicted then it comes out you were innocent you still have to live on a sex offender list even after being proven innocent. If you aren't capable of looking it up I'll provide you plenty of men who had their live ruined by a lying bitch like Christine Blasey Ford. That's what scares men, and lots of places don't hire women anymore because of it.

    • @asifmetal666
      @asifmetal666 Před 5 lety

      It shows u dont have a clue what ur talking about. There is a lot going on why man act like that in workplace in 70s to 90s. Why this isnt a huge thing in a job now. Because everything that needed change will take time. Change doesn't come in one day. Gender studied never help. Do real studies.

    This isn't a female vs men issue, i'm sick of them portraying it like that. George takei molested a man yet he gets off scott free because he's gay? Stop making this a gendered issue.

    • @Kitsune1414
      @Kitsune1414 Před 4 lety +4

      George Tekei "gets off scott free" because of the shaky accusation, not because he's gay. Also, the accuser has not only changed his story but has also taken back some of what he has said. Kevin Spacey abused males and he did not get off scott free.

  • @stephtraveler7378
    @stephtraveler7378 Před 5 lety +2

    Root of the issue is that there are too many women that will say YES. Its those that reinforce the practice. If you ignore the fact that a woman could get a script and lunch a career in acting by merely having sex with a big time producer, you are foolish and ignorant. Even Meryl Streepe has regrets of her required "couch" time to make it big. Women have to stop these practices if they want to move forward.
