I too wasted but not in offline coaching, I wasted my amount in gradeup subscription. While taking gradeup classes I found that teacher, in online classroom program at gradeup (now Byju's) , runs behind syllabus and doesn't take good questions to make your concepts clear. I highly suggest not to take any online as well as offline classroom program. Ravi Sir's video are enough for every competitive exam.

a simple way to solve is distance is constant i.e. 45 km so ratio of minimum time to maximize time will be ratio of minimum speed to maximize speed (30+45)/(90+45)

As speed is inversely proportional to time we have to calculate ratio of speed max to speed min which would be wrong

  • @lasaacademy
    @lasaacademy Před rokem +11

This questions even more simple when you use
    Distance is constant concept
    That is
Between two buses distance is same
So distance is constant between two meetings
    (Remember relative distance)
So time is inversely proportional to speed
So ratio of time = ratio of inversely of speeds
Time minimum when speed maximum and vice versa
    So
    T min / T max = S min / S max
    = 30+45 / 90+45
    = 5 : 9
This is the answer (simple na)
    Remmner to check
When car speed is 30 the meetings occur atleast twice or not
Since they first meet at 3:10 so next meeting will be before 5 pm
So there must be atleast 2 meeting
    So above answer is correct

but since speed is inversely proportional to time, the answer would come out like
speed max/speed min = time min/time max ie (45+90)/(45+30) that comes out to be 9:5 which is not correct since the answer is 5:9
