Hi everyone today I was curious about what a wave smocking design would look like with scaling up the design. I use a square grid using 3 measurements...and I REALLY love the results!♥️
thanks so much for watching as ever and I'll see you in the next video.x
    What do you work as?
After doing my Textiles degree I did my PGCE teacher training at Goldsmiths, University of London to become an Art and Design Secondary School Teacher. Currently, I work in a hospital teaching art part-time to mainly 16 -18 year olds. In addition, I teach art in my studio on Saturdays and I give textile workshops to schools. I set up this channel in April 2020 after being furloughed during lockdown but soon realised I really enjoyed designing, creating projects, filming and editing my videos....so if you'd like to support me please subscribe! I would love to spend more time making extra videos every week 😍

If these are meant to be tutorial samples, it would be much more helpful to have a light color fabric with dark markings. It’s hard to see the tone on tone materials. These look great though.

Hi Shonna yes agreed it is difficult to see on the red fabric. If you were interested I have done tons of Wave Smocking tutorials with the original basic design in the Smocking playlist. 💕
