Triston auditioned for American Idol back in December 2023 advancing to the Showstopper Round, gradually advancing through every American Idol round, and finally making it into the Top 5 in American Idol.

Triston has it all. Genuine. Authentic. Charms the camera. Plays to fans, smiling and making eye contact. He is beautiful. Writes well. Sings nicely. Plays guitar confidently. Photogenic. He lost because Idol kept voting closed until all 5 sang then immediately said voting was closed. Triston and Emmy are probably in recording booths. I waited till they opened voting (No early votes were allowed) I was shocked to see my phone say voting closed. The two eliminated went first.

He’s a great performer and will probably get a recording deal of some sort, but he should’ve stuck to what he did at the beginning that made everyone love him instead of turning to those more commercial songs. I think that’s really what hurt him. I could be wrong but that’s when he seem to lose a lot of the audience.

I think the judges gave him poor advice by telling him to move his hips. He looked like a kid doing that, and he didn't have the body for it. I liked it better when he just sang his songs.

No, he wasn't. When you have 3 predominantly country singers, him, Emmy and Mo, the votes get split 3 ways. Only one can win and it was Mo. Judges were shocked, did you see their faces? They fully expected to see Triston and Emmy in the finals but it couldn't be. Fans loved them all but Mo was older and more experienced of the three. The other two will have great careers without being under the control of American Idol.

Let me start off by saying Christian harbor was not only eliminated because of his talent but he was eliminated in a racial way because he was American Indian. It is so sad that we still have this in our country and not only you have three professional people grading the singers and I cannot understand why this individual didn't come out to win American idol.
