The crust on a bar pie is not like the crust on a regular pizza..It usually is completly burnt from pressed against the side of the pizza pan. Bar pies are baked in a pan unlike regular pizza that is not..

This place is pretty decent but not a stand out, I think 7.5 is fair, maybe slightly lower. It is not quite as good as Town Spa or Buddy's. I will be forever disappointed that Dave never got to try bar pie from Red Wing Diner before they closed. They were the best bar pie around, even better than Town Spa. In Mansfield area I'd like to see reviews of Stefano's (prob 7.7) and Cibo Matto and just over the line in Foxbo is Antonia's they have a traditional large pie and also the square deli style slices which are really good.

That pizza look great. I like the edges when they’re well done like that on pizza and lasagna and chocolate chip cookies, and brownies. I like the well done outside where the flavors lives.
I live 15 minutes from that spot and I’ve tried it once. Sauce was way too sweet for me. Cooked nicely though. He was so close to Smitty’s and grove street tavern in Taunton. Two of my favorite spots. He needs to try it
Here's an idea for some content that could be super interesting to see... a one-bite second chance tour. I think it would be super interesting to see how some places may have stepped it up after a poor review, some places went to shit after a good review, etc.

How do you NOT try that crust. That charred cheese has got to be the best part of that pizza. There is a local place in our area where...if you know what you are doing...you order the pizza with cheese to the edge and it comes away like that and it blackens the provolone cheese...IT IS AMAZING!!! Gotta try that cheese man!!!
