Including James Brand at $679 when a CRK Sebenza can be had for $250 less should make anyone and everyone question the motives of this video.
Nomos is nice though.
Sebenzas are objectively really great grail knives, though I’d argue an integral titanium knife is a much better pick from a premium and luxury standpoint. If this guide was focused on products with the best value than sure, Sebenza wins, but that wasn’t really the aim of this guide. And yeah, you’re not wrong about that NOMOS. Thing is stunning!
Also HIC wasn’t paid by The James Brand. The pick was selected based purely on the merits of the knife.

For 95% of the people, a 140€ Wallet is High End Luxury. Most people i know would spend 60€ at max.
@@Heavy_Metal_Cyclist I'd agree here. However, I would not consider Bellroy to be anywhere close to "luxury". Their quality does not justify 140E price (because former is bad. Very bad).

Just found this and I enjoyed it. So many nice choices. I love the lighter! I would add, myself, that I prefer the Pen Type B from CW & T, as my EDC, hi-end pen. It's got a great cartridge with the Hi-Tec C. Oh, and it has a brass sleeve. The pen was released in 2015.

Interesting choices…if a little unconventional. I would definitely swap the watch for a Rolex Sub ( or a quality Tudor), the flashlight is cool but too bulky imho I would do RovyVon E4 Pro Ti, the key is cool but most of us have key fobs, I would swap the lighter with a S.T. Dupont Line 2, The glasses with ray ban wayfarer because of its proven quality, the wallet with a quality Prada wallet, the Pen with a cross pen (or montblanc if you want something better) , the B&O with AirPods Pro 2.
And there you go that’s my current EDC. I would say just as premium and more mainstream maybe?

I don’t know why you would want a metal iPhone case you could never wireless charge your phone or use Apple Pay. At least I don’t believe you could could be wrong though.
Apple Pay works :) It also scratches and dents up beautifully like the luggage

Cool channel.....Great video...But this Nomos as an EDC seems forced. It is more of a dress watch, NOT an EDC....I expected something more rugged, more durable, not something as thin as paper.. The lume is NOT that great, applied indices is what you would expect. As an EDC, showcasing the back of the movement is the least we care about... I expect better when I am recommended something considered as a EDC....Do better as a recommendation for EDC.
I mean, I don‘t know what your definition of an EDC is, but personally I think the Nomos being as thin as it is while still having 200m of water resistance and a look-through caseback is quite amazing. Yes it is more on the dressier side and yes the indices should be applied and yes all polished surfaces will be more fragile when it comes to scratches. Still the ability to wear this piece literally to anything and for any occasion makes it a pretty good edc. But I‘d love to know which watch you‘d prefer as an edc. From what you said maybe a metal g-shock?
A fully polished case is not a good choice for everyday-use except for office jobs. Fully polished cases show any dents and scratch marks easily. He does not have any idea about watches imo 😂
@@oguzhanakdogan9787 as I mentioned, it depends on what „everyday“ means for you. If you‘re working on a construction side, you‘d obviously pick something like a gshock, just because it probably outperforms any mechanical watch for a fraction of the price.
I small jealousy here. My EDC watches are Rolex Daytonas, Patek Nautilus, platinum FP Journes. ‘Do better as a recommendation for EDC’? Maybe you should make your own EXC channel then. 🤷🏻♂️

You can replicate for 1/10th the price with equivilent quality. You could lose any of these traveling. Looks like pretty boy EDC.
Luxury and iphone case dont go together. Nothing screams cheap more than a phone with a case. Get Apple care, ditch the case, and admire the design of the phone.
