1. Aurelion Sol. A primordial being that probably created the universe. (Basically God)
2. Bard. A celestial being tasked with keeping reality in balance, and can traverse dimensions to do so.
3. Kindred. The manifestation of death, the spirit that eventually claims all life. (Aurelion and Bard are outside of that influence, since they are primordial beings that don't follow the standard concepts of life and death.)
4. Xerath/Veigar. Xerath is the embodiment of magic, created from the Ascenscion ritual, while Veigar is probably the most powerful mage ever. (He can manipulate space to create black holes and can call forth dark matter on a whim)
5. The Aspects of Targon. (Godlike spirits posessing human bodies)

+Noob auf Lebzeit Yup, Aatrox gives the endless rage to all soldiers he fights with. The problem is that the rage won't stop even after the war. So he gave the rage and some of his powers to Tryndamere so he could get rid of these soldiers. The battle with the tribe is in Tryndameres lore and the ancient war on Summoners Rift is in Aatroxs lore. Don't look in the client since the lore there could be shorter. The full version is on the LoL official site.

andrej georgiew I know that, I was just adding to the content. Either way, Lux can cast any spell within instants of seeing it, meaning that she could sweep the floor with Ryze. In fact, if she ascended like Xerath, she would basically become a god. So no, don't fuck her; she could probably repicate your moneyshot back at you. In fact, now that I think about it, she could probably replicate Aurelion Sol's galaxy throwing easily. And Kindred, while we are told is the avatar of death, is not omnipresent lore-wise, which would lead to think he is one of many. Thus, the competition is among Lux, Jax, Illaoi and (maybe) Elise.

+Luis Pedro bah. Nasus is stronger then every single person in the lore (except for Bard, who travels through time and fucking space). He gets stronger every time someone dies. And since he basically lived forever, he is unbeatable. He can kick Xerath's ass while brushing his teeth. Syndra possibly deserves 8th place (ik this is a top 5). I'm not saying the list is bad, not by any means, but, it should look more like this:
#1 Bard, who transcends time and space. He is basically THE God.
#2 Nasus, who gets more power every second.
#3 Xerath, who has no limits.
#4/5 Azir/Renekton, who probably weren't put in this because it'd be full of Shauriman Gods.
And, if it was 'No Demigods' list, it'd look something like this:
#1/#2 Lissandra/Aatrox, because Lissandra is immortal and Aatrox is told to be very powerful.
#3 Syndra, who is omnipotent.
#4 Ryze, the strongest mage alive.
#5 Not sure about this one, possibly Veigar or Elise would be my picks.

TheBlockyEnderGuy who says Bard is a living being? He can go back in time and kill Nasus when he was weak. He transcends time and space. I doubt that Nasus is stronger then him but there are only few known facts about Bard, so I don't know.
(3/15/2016 update) With the release of Mount Targon's lore few things have changed. Aurelion Sol is currently the most powerful being with Pantheon being very close, yet behind Nasus.

Bard is the guardian of the universe. Or one of them.
Just some others I thought might've belonged on the list:
Anivia - She is literally an immortal guardian who commands the land itself "Anivia is a being of the coldest winter, a mystical embodiment of ice magic, and an ancient protector of the Freljord."
Kayle - Kinda meh, but shes an immortal being who has lived for tens of thousands of years and was "the strongest of an immortal race committed to destroying evil wherever it could be found."
Bard - Another immortal guardian, but unlike Kayle or Anivia, he watches over all of Runeterra(though Kayle watches over another dimension but w/e), and "When the unknowable structure of the universe is threatened, Bard steers all existence away from utter annihilation."
just some thoughts... I actually really love the lore, and imo Riot could make a really awesome RPG/MMO/TV series/Movie/Book series etc. with just the current lore... Though there are a ton of plot holes... There are some really great League fanfic with some of our community's own ideas about how to fill plot holes and stuff..

By lore (and teasers) Zed is able to manipulate and control multiple shadows to even greater extent. I am pretty sure, he may not be the most powerful, but killing him would require cleansing every shadow in the world. Literally.
Kayle is an angel. Don't know how to feel about that. She is probably able to make things go godmode for longer than 3 seconds.
Don't know about Shen. He battles both Good and Evil, and didn't get "rekt" so far. I'm guessing that Eye of Twilight title holds something powerful.
Ekko. He can go back in time if he messes up. That's just cheating. On the same line, I'm guessing Zilean is also capable of this.

JGmadgamer Well, thinking mroe about it, if you kill him or make him unable to use his timewinder he's toast. But if he had half a brain more he would rewind BEFORE getting injured. :D That's something Ekko's not really considering.
+Aiden Pearce Yeah, Ekko has the advantage of being able to access multiple timelines and investigate how his different choices will affect the outcome. However this comes with a drawback, because he is the only one going back in time, he could fight someone for what feels like about half a minute to them but he's still going to feel all of the wear of a long fight, he'll eventually tire out and maybe even be unable to gather the strength to rewind time. Therefore no, if Ekko is losing a fight, he will most likely keep losing a fight unless he shortly finds out a way to defeat his enemy before he gets tired.
Nasus is the strongest... Cause remember whenever he kills he gets stronger.. And the lore said nasus has been so alive for so long... So that means he killed so many people and that means he is strong cause.. Like i said he has been living for so long... And he can turn any living things into dust??? I dont think anyone can beat that kind of power :)

What's the point of being immortal if you get your shit slapped every time you challenge him? The reason why he fights with a lampost is because he's the best armsman in history. With any decent weapon, he just destroys anything in front of him. Aatrox would be defeated, sure he can't be killed, but each time he would challenge him he would lose. Isn't that power?

wow, I rarely comment on youtube but this time I must do it. Freaking amazing job, expecially the lore of ryze and xerath were really capturing. They have amazing stories and you narrated them really well. The music also created a great atmosphere to easily live the journey of their stories. Overall good job. Riot should hire you to narrate all of the lore, a lot of people would get more and more interested in it :)

There's a difference; Syndra doesn't know how to control herself and can only use certain powers before she overwhelms herself and destroys herself. Xerath is a true arcane God, but his powers are held back due to the sarcophagus.
+dddmemaybe Actually to be omnipotent means to have unlimited potential and has nothing to do with current state of that somebody. Syndra doesn't have enough to knowledge to control her power and Xerath is weakened by long period of being kept in a tomb and by sarcophagus, as @kylele23 said.

There are many champs that qualify for the strongest in lore. Syndra is omnipotent, Bard is everywhere and nowhere protecting timespace, Cho'Gath eats worlds and grows because of it, and ofc Aurelion who creates galaxies. It took both Nasus and Renekton to capture Xerath.
The strongest person in the lore is Bard. He is a omnipotent god that cannot die, can transcend death, dimensions, and has limitless power that he can control. He just doesn't intervene with humans unless he absolutely has to.

The beginning of the video literally says that we are completely ignoring the game itself for this topic. Otherwise Mordekaiser would be the strongest being. The whole "we control champions" crap is outdated. They scrapped this lore and are currently developing something new. From what we have for now, the league doesn't *exist*

The only champion that comes close to the powers of Bard is Soraka and she was a Goddess. Bard and Soraka are the 2 most powerful champion in League of Legends History.
you can ask "How is Soraka more powerful than anyone else?" She can bestow Life. As in Revive the dead. and repair the most deadly of wounds.

After Warwick asked Soraka to heal his wife she told him that she couldntbe brought back to life. Warwick,greaving, ran from the forest. He came back to hear Soraka and he todl her that revenge woudl help him. Soraka told him no Warwick ignored her. Soraka ran to help him. The Stars told her not to use her powers to hurt others. Soraka ignored them and did it anyway. she chased off the men who attacked Warwick and she healed him but while she healed him Warwick slipped a dagger under her ribs and Soraka punished him by searing the flesh from his body he ran in agony. Knowing she can no longer return to the Celestials she travels as a wandering healer protecting the weak.

Well actually he isn't a monster at all, if you look at the new Shurima lore, bound Xerath wrecked his face na.leagueoflegends.com/en/featured/shurima/story The video is a year old now, and very outdated compared to new lore developments. The #1 on the list is clearly weaker than Xerath in the lore, when he first fought Xerath at his full power he needed Renekton to fight him and still barely beat him. As opposed to the video, Nasus hasn't grown stronger, in fact the official lore shows him as extremely weak compared to his past self. He also never created the ritual of Ascension, the lore also clearly states there were Ascendants before him

will there be a new list since there are champions that are stronger than those in the list,
such as Jax ( like Syspher :D ) said, as well as kindred who was recently released since kindred meets all living beings which would mean that they are omnipresent as they are the personification of death. This means that they are immortal since you cannot kill "death" and the fact that all beings will eventually meet death.

+Charles Dang For Kindred's case I think immortal equals not strong. I feel the strong we talk about here is how much power you can put over others since LOL is about battling. Yes, Kindred can't "die", but neither does it posses all the arcane magical stuff to really be a "strong" being.

Aatrox has existed since the beginning of time and been growing stronger and stronger with every war he fought. Every single death on the battlefield increases his and his blade's power and he's been doing that for thousands (tens of thousands? who knows) years.
Xerath and Nasus are literally demigods with unlimited power sources, I don't think there's a need to say more.
Jax would be invincible against mortal warriors or weaker mages but I think it's pretty clear that he's FAR from the level of those three. I think he could be like #7 - 10 (I think some of the Shadow Isles champions and perhaps Kindred as you mentioned might be stronger than him)
MaxChencjn I never said that they were strong I was only stating that no living being can escape death and that they cannot "die" as they are the embodiment of death, which inevitably means that they will win in the end.
