Christmas Eve 2023!

Jesus came all the way down to earth - “moved into the neighborhood” - to show us the love of God.
How does Jesus coming down to earth show us what God’s love is like?
I know there are times when we’ve felt NOT really loved… been hurt in the “name of love”... Are there some ways that people “love” you that don’t feel like love? Have you thought that maybe God’s love for you is kind of like a cold, judgemental, critical, “I’m doing this because I love you” type of love?
Christmas is truly a season of light, a light breaking through the darkness - a time of giving and receiving, a time of hope, and a time of joy.
Our Christmas Eve gathering included singing, story, and candle lighting as we celebrate the true meaning of the Christmas season. Let’s celebrate the love that came down to earth and changed everything!
