Here, I showed two ways to upload your digital passport photo online when you applied for your British passport or renewal of your British passport.

Hi. What code did you use as te format of the code on the picture is different to that on home office website

What is the point of the upload software that tells you the photo is GOOD, so you upload it, and then some jobsworth in the passport office rejects it for some incomprehensible reason three days later. This has happened THREE times to us. It is absurd. There is nothing I can see wrong with any of the three photos submitted and they are very superior to those shown in the examples here

No, I was not asked to go for an interview. Not every applicant is being asked for an interview.
I have read about it and for people who were invited for interview were asked a few questions just to confirm the documents that they have submitted and their identity. If they need you for an interview, they will let you know.

Anybody has idea that how long does passport office take to.approve application after accepting photograph of the candidate? They rejected the picture earlier today but we uploaded again with in 30mins . Please advise if anybody experience similar that situation thanks 🙏

Hi, do you know if after becoming a british citizen and having an uk passport, you need do update your settled status or somthing else there is needed to do for ppl who have settled status(not BRP) ? Ty
No need it’s automatically updated but if you need proof of I d ,travel you have to make sure you have something to prove who you’re .you are a citizen after swearing legacy to her majesty the queen and to her heir now and after ,obey the laws of the your country be good citizen 🙂 that’s most important thing certificates are just prove paper 📝 work and passport belongs to that her majesty have to make sure you look after the passport 🙂 continue contribution towards economy to keep country prosperity 😇enjoy your new country
@@emmanuelobace2270 yes maybe. If you check your settled status it says that any change of nationality should be updated. It doesn’t update automatically, but yes maybe there is no need to do anything
@@acmramon oh said automatically because not long ago before I got my passports was chatting to crb staff about my crb( criminal checks )being updated and they were like you got anew passport when I was giving my details like he already knew ended up saying waiting on ma passport must have been in the system same goes if police 👮 or any government body asks and they wanna know who I am or status by just giving my date of birth and name with even fingerprints it’s in the system

I got same automated check . Can I ask if you submitted and what happened please
@@SincerelyRisala I did not submit those pics with that message. I tried at home with my phone following pic guidelines and uploaded that which showed good quality checks on application and that was gone through as well. Hope that’s helpful.

Hello. Are you uploading a photo taken by your own camera or is it through a photo code taken in a photo booth? Both methods are explained in the video.

Don't you have to get the upload photo counter signed from someone
Hello. These are for online application. The photos can be countersigned by your chosen referee online. It is part of the whole passport application process.
But u hvnt change the size and the background colour?
No. I didn’t change anything. I uploaded it as it was.
Thank you this was helpful, now I know that the person I was talking to from the UK passport office was just keeping me on the line for 20 minutes to make an idiot out of me.
I am applying for my son's renewal passport and the first person I spoke to seemed helpful and tried passing me onto a line where I could sort out that issue. unfortunately, after 3 minutes on hold, the call ended. I called again and explained the problem again ( that there was no area on the form explaining how to pay or the address on where to send it) he had me on the phone for 20 minutes, and wasn't passing me on to anyone else, just told me he was waiting for information while asking e questions about where about I live and where I was from, I had thought he wasn't really doing his job but I kept my cool and asked him what we were waiting for and if he needed to pass me on to somewhere and he said for reasons I can't do that I am just waiting to pass you on. SO time goes by all the while he's asking me these questions and then said I hope I am not costing you money to which I replied, I just want to get this sorted now so I can send it and we can get it in time for august so we can visit family ( we live overseas in Spain) meanwhile he's saying how I don't have a Yorkshire accent and I sound naive but I also have a tropical accent.
He also asked me about the online option and I told him before I got the photos printed, I didn't know there was an online option because the last time I did this was 5 almost 6 years ago. There wasn't an option or anything unusually like the code you have on your photos when they were printed. I got the normal (I say normal because it's what I´m used to) So when the photos I paid for were printed there was no code on the top like these new ones. So maybe in Spain, they have the older booths in Spain or just the one I used, an older model.
A part of me is thinking what is this guy doing, but again I just want to get it done and not kick up a fuss because he is less likely to help me then. Anyway, after 20 minutes of this, he hung up and When I call back and explained again for the third time, my phone cut off because I no longer had the credit to call anyone.
So I think this guy just thought I was stupid even though he knew I was in Spain, some people tend to think that the bubble they live in extends o the whole world. So if you know a way to complain and actually be taken seriously please let me know.
Thanks for this video. If my photo is Fair on the gov website will that be acceptable. Also what happens if they dont accept that photo?
How did you get counter signature

I could remove the background from my passport application photo by going to remove.bg after taking a selfie from my phone for free
