I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and I chose my notification sound “tri tone” and after updating to iOS 17, my notification sound and haptics is “rebound” and whenever I change the sound, then it dosent sound like I chose it and now I updated it to 17.1.1 and still didn’t fixed this issue please help

the bug i've been experiencing on 17.1 is dropping of Wifi if you're not using your phone for a while. It disconnects and will not reconnect back until you toggle wifi off and on.
I noticed that my phone would fail to roam between mesh nodes on my Wi-Fi. So I would be on a teams call and as soon as I was roaming to ther other node, it would drop to 5G and then connect to that node. After this update, I see that it can roam between nodes without disconnecting again

Same here. I’ve only noticed because my OG HomePods are complaining that my iPhone isn’t on the same Wi-Fi network whenever I try to do a personal request.
Interesting as I had this issue well before IOS17 on my 13pro. It's fixed now

I’ve noticed that on my 15 pro updated to the latest update before this one that the outdoor “bright” display fades to darker. Only fix I’ve found is to lock and unlock the phone.
If it's hot where you live, it's most likely throttling - iPhone lowers max brightness when it's hot to prevent overheating the processor.

I’m on iOS 17.1.1 and there’s a bug where you attached a link for focus and once you turn it off or on it switches wallpapers it’s very annoying.

I updated and now the phone does not recognize my touch. I did rebooted using the side buttons multiple times and still nothing. I have a 15 Pro Max. Any recommendations on a solution?
Hi Brandon, after updating my iPhone 14 pro to iOS 17.1, I noticed Bluetooth volume has drastically reduced on Apple Music, I have restarted the app many times, hard-restarted my phone, even deleting the Apple Music app and reinstalling it but nothing seems to work.
Every other app works perfectly fine on bluetooth, only Apple Music does not.
That bug is still present even after installing the recent iOS 17.1.1!
Thanks Brandon for keeping us updated. I have the 2nd gen HomePods and they have been a pain. They loose connection and drop sound frequently while streaming CZcams. The update didn’t help.
Private relay was interfering with my wifi and cellular data connection. I had to switch it off on 17.1. Hopefully things go back to normal on this update.

Still have issue with my Wifi connection, same with LTE and 5G on Iphone 12
I just hope it corrects the heat during charging, never had this issue on my 14 pro before but now when I charge the phone is heating up significantly
This happened to me once when I left my 15 plus charging on top of the bed. I figured out that charging on the side table where it’s flat doesn’t get hot or warm even a tiny bit.
@@chaseyoung2778 i believe fabric will trap heat a lot. best to avoid charging ontop of your bed. just my 2c

Updated this morning. Didn’t even know there was an update until this morning when I got the notification.
I have two iPhone 15pros ..one with zero issues and one that sometimes doesn't respond to touch or clicks..hopefully this fixes it.

My iPhone 13 pro max got alittle bit laggy and drop frame after i switched from ios 16 to ios 17.1 Does this update make it smoother?
Undocumented change for IOS 17.1.1: The phone keyboard changed and the background, when talking on the phone, is now showing grey instead of blue. For example, mute and speaker phone buttons are reversed. Other buttons, on the same screen are not were they were before. If you see this, report to Apple (Identified on an IPHONE 13 but may also be on other models.
Keep up the awesome work, Brandon! Did the update overnight. Took my phone (iPhone 14 Pro) off the charger an hour ago and I’m down to 92% battery. I checked 4 emails, sent 1 snap, and used a tooth rushing app for 2 min and 22 secs. Not looking promising. Also updated my watch. I had the battery drain issue, so I’m anxious to see how that goes today.
It is now 10:20 am and my phone is down to 79%. Not looking good. Watch is at 94%. Definitely better than prior to the update.
@@kcdyck 13pm here. I updated last night and the battery life is atrocious to say the leaset. I charged full too 100 last night and woke up to 95% then down to 80% after 2 hours of CZcams. But it is my first cycle after update and it usally take a couple days for it to be the real battery life. Hope it gets better for you and me.
Did u do the iOS 17.1.1 bcs i haven’t done it yet and i don’t know what to do bcs some say it’s bad for your battery life

I did do the 17.1.1 update and it helped my battery life. My watch is a lot better and my iPhone 14 Pro is quite a bit better.
I have the issue in iOS 17, when I activate my always on display, it works. And it deactivates when I put it in sleep focus or energy safe. But if I deactivate this, it turns back on. But after a few days, the feature deactivates in the settings. I wonder if it is a general bug or if it is caused by always on standby or another feature

Hey Brandon I’m realizing that now in CZcams if I’m watching your videos on and swipe to go out it goes into a small screen like Picture in Picture. Never got this before 17.1.1
I’ve updated mine, but still no fix for the notification from Blink security cameras, which is difficult to hear after ios17. Neither Apple nor Blink seem to want to resolve this. I’m having to use my old iPhone 7 to get notifications now.

Hi Brandon - Thanks for keeping us all up to date on everything Apple. I'm running iPadOS 17.1.1 now after running all of the previous versions of iPadOS 17 as they were released. Today I noticed that Apple Music is messed up pretty badly; lots of connection issues and it hangs if I can get to play at all. Checked the Apple Community page for Apple Music and lots of folks are reporting the same kind of problems with iPadOS 17 on different generations of iPads. Have you heard anything about this? I'm sure I've played the music app since 17 was released so maybe it's .1.1 that did this but it's pretty frustrating. Music on my iphone works ok. Thanks!
The only issue I had with the new OS was on the first day or two with watchOS 10, my Watch Ultra only lasted a single day and died for the first time, but it rectified itself rather quickly after that and I'm back to having two full days without charging.

I might be one of the Apple Watch users this watch update is targeting. One of the 10.0 betas and again at 10.1 RC (the only x.1 updates I installed) my Ultra 1 went nuts with battery usage. Updated at night, went to sleep on a full charge, dead 5 hours later nuts. Reboots didn’t change anything but after a reset of device and subsequent reboot things calmed. I opened a bug and Apple asked if I had the watch face app by MobyFace installed. I do. So maybe an interaction between the watchOS and that app? Hope this fixes things. Sharing in case others had this issue.
I`m Freaking out! After updating my MBA M2 to Sonoma 14.1.1 my device does not recognize my external monitor anymore. I don`t know what to do

Watch update didn't fix the battery drain issue for me. Battery went from full to 60% in about two hours.
For me the issue actually didn't start with watchOS 10.1, but after installing the iOS 17.1 RC1. No prior betas were installed and the watch stayed at 10.0 until the official release of 10.1

After the update i have been noticing there is bug where the artist name are appearing different…i usually used to upload downloaded itunes from laptop to phone.
For example: I have downloaded jeezy album and some other singles from the store while adding those through iTunes app from laptop the other singles too appear with artist name as jeezy… could you please check on this whether it’s a bug…

@BrandonButch I wanted to know if you have issues with AirPods Pro 2 USB C. The issues I been having are connection issues. While I am listening to music it will stop playing for 6sec then the audio comes back. On phone calls it would crackly noise and people can’t hear me well. I turn off most of the setting off. I only have noise cancellation (on) every other setting is (off). I even send in my AirPods to Apple. Everything came out fine as they say. I also have the same exact issues with my Beats fit pro. I always keep my phone up today. I also ask my family and friends some have the exact same issue.
I tested geekbench 6 on my iPhone 15 pro max, and i am getting so less score man, multi-score is just 6430, why so less 😢
I turned off “ always on” on my watch series 8 and the battery greatly improved.
You shouldn’t have to do that… you shouldn’t have to compromise, Apple Watches are not cheap and they marketed it as a “use whole day with always on display watch”

This is probably minor to others but with this update i cannot stand how the emojis are the same color as the font when you update someone’s contact poster. Is there anyway to change that?

I have a 13pro with a synced content bug that has been a problem since iOS 17. I don’t use the Apple Music’s streaming service. I buy music from iTunes, but since the bug started I can’t update my iPhone through syncing my phone. Each time I try to, I get message that I don’t have enough space. Very frustrating to not hear any mention of it. Is this not a problem for other people?
a friend of mine is having the same problem where it will sync on iphone and ipad but not on the mac mini or will sync on the mac mini but not the iphone or ipad she can tell because it reverts to an older picture of herself than what she updated to.

Notification badges bugs, are they fixed? No badges appear on Gmail and some message apps or showing phantom badges when no message received.

CarPlay is BROKEN after downloading 17.1.1 on my iPhone 15 Pro. It also will not work from 17.1.1 on my friend’s iPhone 12. Community forums on Apple’s website seem to confirm. Not a cable issue, as the cables work fine from outlets. Will this be addressed in 17.1.2 or 17.2? I drive Uber/Lyft and CANNOT work bc CarPlay is fully broken (can’t even charge phone in car anymore since 17.1.1)

Am I the only one having wallpaper blur issues sincs ios 17.1? I have an iPhone 12 and I upgraded to ios 17.1 on the day it came out and since that i have this issue. Originally I have a blurred wallpaper and when I turn on and off focus modes that changes my wallpaper like sleep, the blur comes off of the wallpaper. I go to the setting and the blur button is active so it must be a bug. I have to turn off the blur, hit done, go back and turn on the blur and then it works again. It also happens when i restart my phone. I haven't seen this issue anywhere else so am I the only one having this problem? I tried to contact apple but got no reply, i can't post this on reddit either and ios 17.1.1 didn't resolve this, it's really annoying.

After updating to iOS 17.1.1 my 15 Pro charges to 100% even though I have charging limited to 80% in the settings! It charged correctly to 80% prior to the update.
I have been noticing a bug where the volume on my iPhone 15 pro max goes up and down by itself. Usually when wearing my AirPods Pro 2. This never happened on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, not sure if it’s the phone or the iOS 17 update but it’s quite annoying. Is anyone having this issue?

I hope the watch os update addresses the issue with alarms/timers. Anyone else having an issue where the alarm will go off and it just shows on the watch screen? With no sound or if you alarm goes off on the phone not on the watch? 🤔
Yes mine often only goes off on my phone which is annoying if I’m charging my phone in the other room.
So many bugs and lags since day one of iOS 17 such as low refresh rate, laggy control center, many lags when switching wallpapers and more. The only reason I am updating is because every time I hope it gets fixed but nothing. A friend of mine also got many lags after 17.1.1 which he hadn’t before in iPhone 14 (same as me). Really disappointed with apple. I only have the phone for 4 months and all I can say is that the first 2 I was satisfied with the phone. I hope they get fixed.

Does anyone else have this weird issue after the first iOS 17 update where an alarm sound from Apple Music never plays when the alarm rings and goes to the default sound instead? I've tried everything and to no avail. All my Apple Music songs are downloaded to the app as well so I don't understand why iOS 17 suddenly won't play any songs as alarms.
Are your songs downloaded as lossless? I noticed that only non-lossless music would play as alarms even before iOS 17.
@@Unattainabelle hmmm but for me the alarm I had previous to the update was actually a lossless song. Now that same song doesn’t work either. I’ll see if a non-lossless song works tho.
@@Unattainabelle Okay so update: turning off the lossless downloads seemed to work. How weird considering I didn’t have this lossless issue before the update, but I guess now I know what caused it. Thank you for your help! 😊

I have the 12 pro max and I always update it when the any new update come out when i was in the ios 17.1 there is some issues but not that much but when i update to 17.1.1 i just found the issues disappear and i feel like the iphone is more smoother than before
