      Man, I appreciate those kind words brother you have no idea. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch. I really appreciate you. And remember to leave it in about 20 30 minutes longer than I did. It’ll turn out even better. At the end of the day as long as you’re thermometer, says the right temperature and you should be good but minded and I noticed the center of the turkey could’ve been a little more tender the following year. I left it in 30 minutes longer, and it turned out to perfection.

    So glad for this video bc you confirmed that the metal component goes into the pot..being submerged in the oil..Although, the guidebook indicated so, I had a hard time believing it was correct lol and I was leery to start on the turkey. The other thing that really threw me off was a picture on the box it came in...it shows the inside of the fryer, with the basket attached..n that metal device wasn't there! So I was like, Oh! I knew it! It definitely goes under the fryer pot but trying to assemble it that way was impossible so I was back to square one n then I found your video 🙏🏻
    And I realized, it wasn't just me bc you made it a point to emphasize that the metal piece gets submerged in oil n I was like..God bless this man! Now we can start our turkey 👍🏻 Thank you for posting.

      @Team Turner Family Yes indeed, but I'm actually glad I got both. I can use the Big Easy whenever I wanna take a healthier alternative, but the Masterbuilt is super convenient, although it's made for indoors, I still use it out on my patio, just because I don't want my house smelling like fried food. It stains walls & the fumes have the tendency to linger through the house.

    You MUST remove that plastic thermometer that comes inserted into the turkey! Also, use the hook handle that comes with it to lower it into the oil. Those are two of the biggest rookie mistakes, and you should not be putting this out for others to follow. It looks good, but we gotta learn from our mistakes, otherwise, it's a waste of a mistake, my dad used to say. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

      Appreciate your feedback. But I’m not instructing anyone to do it the way that I did it. There’s clearly a user manual for people to go and look at and not be lazy. I’m just demonstrating and showing people how the thing works and if it should be a good purchase for them. Use at your own discretion. And furthermore, I don’t like people that like to come in and play Monday night quarterback, and only mention negative things. If that’s all you took out of the entire video that’s super sad. and if your statement is correct, you’ve already done this process before so what do you do go on peoples videos and just comment negatively and troll lol why are you watching these videos in the first place if you’ve already done it and is the expert 😂 Thanks for watching. Happy Thanksgiving

      And furthermore, the plastic thermometer does not melt in the oil believe it or not just like it doesn’t melt in the oven when people cook it. And the difference between using oil, protectant heat gloves, and the metal thing is apples and oranges. 😬😐

    I just purchased this and my husband said read the box...not for indoor use....now I'm confused...I just might have to take it back 🤔

      You can absolutely use it indoors. They probably just put that in case people have like a RV or a trailer with super small ceilings but as long as you have enough room and use the proper amount of grease there is no way you can make a mistake with this

    One more question lol did you feel safe using it indoors?

      @TeamTurnerFamily  Před 2 lety +1

      Absolutely safe it was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Definitely never going back to that ancient way of feeling like I’m going to blow myself up with a propane tank LOL as long as you follow the instructions everything will go perfect there’s no possible way of failure unless it’s user error.

      You can use the fryer indoors, i use my fryer outside to eliminate the fry oil smell indoors.

      No one told you to fry wings. This was a turkey frying tutorial and the turkey comes out nice and crispy. So sorry your wings didn’t turn out right
