The problem is that he takes those too often and misses over half the time. The all-time greatest highlight player for sure but his on the court performance is exaggerated.

It is not only his SHOOTING that is insane. His DRIBBLING is unbelievably good as well.
What makes Curry's half court 3's so pretty is the fact that when most players shoot a half court 3, they just throw it up. Hoping for a miracle. Curry actually goes into a shooting motion when he shoots them. Meaning he knows he can hit it. Just absolutely crazy and I'm happy I was alive to witness his greatness.

Him only being 4 years younger than LBJ is not going to be enough for him to carve out his own era, but he's definitely going to be remembered as one of the biggest players of this era.
He does this routinely during practices at home and on the road. He is showing that any shot can be a good shot if you practice it enough. And let's not forget how quick his release is. One of the reasons he is so hard to guard.
The fact that his 28th or 29th best shots could be most players #1 best career shot really shows you how he is truly the best shooter ever
Steph doesn't only make a lot of threes, I swear he swishes over 70% of them, even the contested and halfcourt ones. I'm always surprised when he hits rim on any of his shots.

Before I moved down to LA, I use to work across the street from the Warriors stadium in Oakland.. so going to games was on the regular. Been to the ring ceremonies, been to a couple Christmas games against the cavs, was there when curry set the record for most 3's in a game (before Klay broke it), and so many others. Truely is amazing to watch Steph and this team dominate the league after being left behind for soo many years. If you've never been to a Warriors game, put it your bucket list NOW! Before he retires.
