I’ve caught instacart doing shady work by lying on the miles to deliver and when I called them out on it they reimburse me. I should sue and have them audited.

It seems that most of the money, around 80% of it came from the tips. It’s almost unbelievable that the customers you shopped for were so generous. Good for you. Most customers usually tip about 10 or 15%
Honestly a big part of it is she’s a pretty girl so they would see this on her profile picture and tip fat. Girls got it good when it comes to jobs that give tips.
Exactly. It's nowhere near reality. It also depends where you live for sure. My best week with instacart was $211 for the week for 5.5-6 hrs a days. But if you subtract all the driving i had to do that week with instacart sending me out 30 miles on rough roads, its not great at all! Didn't even make minimum wage. So it definitely depends where she lives and if she was out driving 12hrs a day. But definitely not where I'm at. I could possibly see breaking 500 for the week if you were out 12hrs a day.

The holiday season, people are in a good mood and the last two years of the pandemic, economic/ political uncertainty have made some people more generous. I know I tip Uber drivers and delivery workers a little more because I know times are tough for many.
I do uber eats and I make more money in tips than the fee, customers don't care they know they are paying for convenience.....

I use the Time Stamp Camera app for every delivery and attach the photo to the customer so they know their groceries was delivered and that I have proof of delivery as well to IC.

It could have been a customer trying to get free stuff. They may have contacted the customer and stated the drop was recorded and the customer backed down or said oh I see it on the side door. I know some thus happened too that also records ever delivery. I recommend everyone do this we have a spare old phone we use to log everything. People are scammers out there.

They don't appreciate their shoppers. I was verbally abused by a customer and was even called a "ho" and when I reported it to Instacart, they seemed to careless and just wanted to know whether or not I would be delivering the items to the customer
I have done instacart for 3 years, and for whatever reason I have had so many false reports this past year that it has been so frustrating that I have to explain myself every 1-2 months trying to tell them how I didn't break any rules. Also I wish I was in your area, I do the same types of orders and make $15-30 per order.

Just make sure you put enough a way for taxes. I have friends who worked for instacart and Uber who had to put away 33% for taxes later in the year! They weren't told to put any away and almost got a little screwed over

Bella you do what I did during the first part of the pandemic take low tippers as long as the total payout is good. I got dinged every week by those low tippers and one day I got my first non delivery claim. Seeing that many people are permanently deactivated after 2 of these claims I vowed to only take certain orders ones with very high tips only. This dramatically reduces the chances of getting a scammer and now I'm almost never below a 5. Video proof cannot be submitted to instacart they won't accept it instead they look at the customers history as well as yours and make there decision. They now deactivate many customers or prevent those customers from getting refunds if they reach a certain threshold. Instacart is giving more slack than ever before its about time.

You’d get a bonus boost weekly if your batch pay for the week was less than a certain $$ amount per hour you worked. And they pay an amount per mile you drive. Maybe look into it :)

I did Instacart for 2 Months. Trust me. You are not getting those kind of tips regularly if at all. These guys were tipping more than the cost of the food. That's not realistic.
