What is a good item+pay+item ratio or how do you determine that

ALL RIDESHARE/DELIVERY is a scam. There are multiple studies to show this. Subtract; taxes + gas + wear on cars overall value + standard repair + accidents = on average $10 an hour. Where I’m from that’s under minimum wage. About HALF. Anyway Instacart is the lowest paying of all but every market is different. Here white privileged people tip as much as DoorDash BUT they all live far, far away and the gas just drains…lowest paying in my market.

Yeah, they don’t show everyone all the orders. And there doesn’t seem to be rhyme or reason for it. You should seriously consider getting off of the platform. Your car depreciates at a much greater rate than the money that you make. Not even considering the time and menial labor needed to generate the money.

Is there anyone that can help me out there? I’m a Diamond for two years straight. 5.0 star, they ban me from Costco and 16 other stores. I never received a email about this or anything. Customer support can’t do anything about it. How do I lift the bans?

I’ve noticed that many people aren’t tipping until they receive their items because some Insta shoppers have been adding extra items to orders. This happened to me at Fry’s Marketplace, where a shopper added two leggings, three shirts, dog food, Starbucks coffees, and sushi to my order. She marked items as unavailable and replaced them with her own. I stopped doing Insta for a while but started again three weeks ago. Since then, many customers have tipped me in cash after receiving their items and confirming that nothing was added or taken. One lady even told me she stopped tipping upfront because previous shoppers would claim items were out of stock, deliver only a few items, and still receive a large tip due to a large order being placed. She often had to reorder or go to the store herself. Since I’ve started doing Instacart again, I’ve noticed that many people aren’t tipping upfront at all, likely due to these dishonest practices by some shoppers who try to make quick cash without doing the work or considering the customer who paid for the service. All the bad apples are literally making it harder for the honest loyal shoppers who think customers are important to make the money they work hard for to even get.

That's sad. I think all the customers should watch your video because I didn't realize it was a hassle for you all.

I almost missed Diamond Cart at the end of June and am so glad I didn’t. Instacart has been fire lately. Maybe with back to school, but I also just hit 1,000 batches delivered a few weeks ago. I’m seeing $80, $90, $100 orders. I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s never been this good before and I always maintain perfect stats. I wonder if hitting 1,000 batches makes a difference to the algorithm?! Thoughts? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Really enjoying the videos, I am working on getting to Diamond(85 more to go). Heard that you had an order dropped, I was in the same predicament the other day, I had a $48 2 stack, one from Costco(Just opened 1 mile from my house) and an Aldi order, I knew the Aldi one was the low end tip. Had to shop Costco, let the order sit in my car and knock out the Aldi order, then had to deliver the Costco sitting in my car for almost an hour. Sure enough the Aldi order tipped $8 and I waisted a whole hour. Is there a video with tips on how to remove safety (Time Wasting) orders?

Today was the worst day I ever had with instacart. My day started off with 1 doordash order at 5 am. No tip. Didn’t see anything instacart orders until 7:45am, cvs no tip, still did it. My next order was at 10am, 180 items from ralphs $2 tip. My next order was another no tip order 172 items from Ralphs at 12pm. I didn’t see any orders after that, so I went home at 2. I spent so much gas today too, it’s not even worth it. I would have made more money looking for change in the streets

real inspiring making your account diamond is no joke i was diamond and got deactivated reasone was background check failed for 2 ticket no points i got my account back but i was platinum’s because i had done more than 5000 orders i made my account diamond with in 3 and half week it was brutal

i feel so demotiveted this years i feel like how is so many customer not tipping ans batch payment went its so low like instacart paying nothing big company know how to take adavntage from shoppers
