Someone once told me, life is what happens while you're making other plans. Wow is that true. Your photography has gotten top notch Amanda ❤. My husband is a photographer so I know what I'm talking about. You should consider making a calendar with your beautiful photos or a book. Ok so when I was a little girl I spent several weeks in summer a couple times visiting my grandparents in Maine. Downeast Maine. At their summer camp at a lake. And the moss and the stories we told about fairies 🧚 ☺️💗👏💘🫶🏼

I just saw a beautiful owl as well on a walk last week! It looks like the same type, though I’m out here in Ontario (but, I’m from BC born and raised). I wanted to put in a pic, but I guess we can’t do that in comments? Anyway, seeing the beautiful owl made me feel so special. He flew up into a tree and we just both were still looking at each other for a long time. I felt truly blessed that this amazing bird visited with me, and I will never forget that. Frank is looking amazing, and so are you! Enjoy life, my friend.

this was SUCH a beautiful video and a sweet story of your explorations and rediscoveries on the island. I love that you found such stillness by the lake and got such good sleep. Where I'm renting now is beyond the service area of all the internet companies, and even Verizon cell signal is sketchy. The nearest tower is about 10 miles away. I strategize and struggle to find a viable way of being connected, but I would probably be so much better off without the internet. It's just so easy to goof off online rather than read, work on projects, or even go to bed! I'm so glad and Frank had a good time on this trip.
