Man, I was not ready for this. I was told to look this song up because I'll be dancing to it in a new play that's been written. There are only a few artists in the world that are able to create vivid images of a time in your life. And, this gentlemen is one of them. I've been trying to let go of my late grandmother for so long. But this song makes me not want to do that. It brought her back to life for a moment and for that I am thankful. I got to see her, clear as day, one more time. Thank you x.

I had the pleasure of seeing Terrence at Roseland Ballroom in NYC in 1988. I got there early and was in the front row. I remember that not only was he beautiful, but the his voice was so mesmerizing. Thanks for taking my memory back to that😊❤

I was sitting on my bed and I was listening to your song Holding on to you and all of a sudden I hear thump thump but it was almost quiet and I looked down and it was my tears hitting my comfetor and I only had that happen to me one other time in my life and it was when my sister passed April 17, 2016. I have felt like everything is loud to me. I looked at some of your interviews and I was able to calm down when I listened to you. I was thinking about your voice when you talk and it requires others to come down and listen and able to hear the message you want to express. The voice is small but the words are immaculate and we will never touch the end of then because they are infinite. We all need forever.
That was a downright spiritual experience. It was just perfect.

my sister that passed this year and how strong she was as this song. we were driving from the hurricane Ike right after We sat on pins and needles for her husband people to make it out of New Orleans only to find out self in the same situation. I broke down crying we were trying to get to my grandmothe landr and we had years of knowing the back roads and she looked at me and said get the map out . we cut off that highway and the amount of gravel that came up from all the cars that followed us was amazing. We what they called city girls but what they did now we could drive a tractor and shuck corn and fish. we were the last to make it to my grandmother land and it looked like a parking lot and she said I knew my girls would make. My sister only lost her cool when we were close and o said you remember you told me we would make it. later saw my grandmother in her room as she rested on her dresser and I said mother are you ok and she said I was worried about you all and you know everything your grandfather and I taught you. so you all were going to make it come high water or hell. she said I looked for yall. yes I said yall deep south. I'm still holding on to my big sister and know I have to be strong ad she was and until t b e day she left we argued over who was the strongest and she said me and I said her.
