great way to price cleaning. all I would add is instead of scrapping the glass use #0000 steel wool . less chance of damaging the glass.

Remember S/S blades are safer to use on glass than carbon steel. I install window graphics and sometimes have to cut directly on the glass.

Nice tips. Which city are you in? I am in San Francisco and our charges in here are $ 10.00 - $ 12.00 per pane. It seems to me you are under charging that job. We make big money out here cleaning windows.
The explanation and all the teaching were very helpful, I kind of do the same here just with hight charges.

I am so glad that I saw this video. I worked for a guy that used to bid on cleaning offices, and the Guy kept asking him to do more stuff for free (eg: cleaning windows), and the guy I worked for wouldn't charge extra. He was so hungry for the job, he would say yes for free.

I always quote the first time FREE and I use a stop watch and when finished I add 1 dollar per minute and 9 out of 10 people will pay with no problem.

Many water stains ...yes more money...let's just clean the entire 2 story commercial building ...gutters, water stains, downspouts, and windows included for $1,000. Let's add on the sidewalks for another couple hundred or so...and ...Yeah! I am rich! Artillery spores from rotting mulch...yeah...more money for me! And, guess what I didn't even get on a ladder! Yeppie.

those front windows look tinted. does that change your approach when cleaning them or can you still use steel wool etc ?

Nick's Residential Services you probably would want to stay away from scraping or using steel wool on any tint maybe the side not tinted if you can determine that. But if you have any question what side the tint is on I’d only use a squeee. Cheers
