Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game in which two teams of five players compete to destroy a large structure defended by the opposing team known as the "Ancient" whilst defending their own. As in Defense of the Ancients, the game is controlled using standard real-time strategy controls, and is presented on a single map in a three-dimensional isometric perspective. Ten players each control one of the game's 124 playable characters, known as "heroes", with each having their own design, strengths, and weaknesses. Heroes are divided into two primary roles, known as the core and support.

Valve can now also add more facets to each hero in the future patches. Doesn't necessarily makes heroes more difficult to play but it gives each hero more playstyle options, which I think is kinda good. It makes drafting phase a collaborative deck building
It already is. If you would really know how pro players draft this is excruciating for them right now.
Huskar is now officially the first Dota hero to not use mana.
And Nyx Assassin is now a walking gem of true sight

It's nice to see Dota2 finally modernizing it's hero design like this - but I have to say these passives are just ranging literally all the way from god tier to hot garbage - like there's no way Gyrocopters ability to.... Disassemble "most items" is in no way comparable when juxtaposed to Leshrac gaining *_AOE TO HIS SPELLS BY BUILDING THE ONE STAT HE WANTS TO BUILD ANYWAYS_*
Vengeful has a passive that makes her a melee hero lmao. I understand that means you can build her with certain items, but jesus.
Gyror's passive is much stronger than Lesh's. Lesh gains 0.5 AoE per int, so even at 200 int (a lot, a level 30 Lesh will not even have 150 int without items) that's 100 more AoE on your spells, which isn't nothing but it's also not the most amazing thing ever. Gyro's passive may seem a bit boring, but it allows him to optimize his build paths in ways that no other hero can, which in turn makes it so he can be stronger at every point in the game.
Gyro’s passive is very good for tactical decisions, remember topson’s diffusal blade gyro that made his team won? I think icefrog took reference from it

@@otopugpug So it's a factor regarding your income and gold efficiency which makes it more valuable, it does sound incredibly bland and simple on the surface as it lacks the sort of actual feel of having a tangible impact on your gameplay, where as with Leshrac you can see the AOE's of your spells grow bigger and thus seem and feel more powerful - what kind of optimizing are you supposed to or capable of doing with the ability to disassembling your items exactly? my dota knowledge is limited by play mobas on the regular

Nah, he's more into the 'eternal night' concept, hence the ult turning day into night.

how use abilitty?
@algamesfi9034 You dont need to use her skill because it automatically active when Night-time ended and changed into day-time. Once it changed to day-time, she can reveal the map in 4 seconds span and back to her normal vision after end of duration.
4 second span means she will gradually reveal the map into full-exposed map and it stays for few seconds until it ended.

I dont thinks its that bad. It does not show wards does it? What do it benefit to see the map, what is important is that it shows where heroes are. Zeus can reveal all enemy heroes too. On alot shorter cool down. Dawn will only do it every 10s min right? Dawnbreaks then the goes 5 min with day time then there is 5 min of nightime the dawnbreaks again, it actually seems bad. If it shows wards then nevermind what I said.
Im more nervous for the leshrac tbh.
@@MrJuhs91pro teams could utilize the second the map turns to day for a gank. They could center smoke of deceit timings for this and have dawnbreaker just follow up with her ulti. Global carry gank. 5 seconds is more than enough time to utilize that.

it's really good design. making heroes really unique in their own way without needing an ability slot
Just finished a few games earlier and that WR passive is cool asf. She can easily jump into team fights and deals so much damage (ofcourse, as long as shes not being targeted).

If gyro can sell recipes for 100% gold a good trick is to buy all expensive recipes and always keep near 0 gold, so if you die you dont lose gold, and sell them when you want
