To be fair, it would have to be this way. Any war or true combat between two sides is more preparations than actually fighting. Besides, if there wasn't so much preparations then it wouldn't be possible for the Science side to win
@@carloshenrique-xb5bz I mean if physics were taken into account when making the fighting hyoga would've been maybe half as powerful as he was shown and magma or anyone could've blocked an attack while the others cover from the back and even if tsukasa was as strong as he was shown he can't fight while blinded by a flash banged and having the rest of the fighters attacking him after the short job hyoga should be
@@feritperliare2890 True, but the issue was that Senku had already decided that it would be ultimately a bloodless fight. One where no one dies.
If he fought head on then he can surely defeat them if played right, but it wouldn't be enough to actually do what Senku wanted. They needed to be able to force a negotiation, especially since I doubt capturing someone like Tsukasa is possible and I also doubt that they could truly go and do so without anyone dying.

1:28 Oh my god, it took me a rewatch to figure this part out.
Senku is in a cave, looking towards the ocean-
This was hinting him at the end of the series where he made Tsukasa go into a cold sleep in the cave, and looking towards the ocean where the kingdom of science will be traveling on next.
Very nice detail, the whole intro is just foreshadowing the events that will occur in the Season.
Pretty sure almost all ops foreshadow too

Earlier it shows byakuya and Lillian looking to mainland Japan from the island senku is looking at
same in the part where the first chorus will start, it shows a lot of flash on the screen, and then it shows the moment that Tsukasa's sister revives (I forget the name), the "suspicious scar" of that guy over there(I also forgot the name) , the explosive little plane and even the tank gear system they made.

this anime has taken first place on my top favorites list purely because of how well the story was written. the art style was amazing also cant forget the music and sound design . pretty much everything about this anime is perfect. safe to say it is a masterpiece among masterpieces.

I watch it on repeat when I'm tired or about to practice drawing. It's a triumph of animation. Things I always get mesmerised by are:
1. The line art on his right cheek
2. The gradual lighting that almost appears in panels on his left cheek, illuminating his scar.
3. His beautifully drawn hand
4. The ruffles on his collar shifting
5. The line art on his ears shifting
6. His beautifully drawn (and perfect) mouth, but particularly the corners
7. (My favourite) his expression. He looks so lost in the music and genuinely thrilled to be singing.
8. The lighting on his gentle but intense eyes
9. The way his eyebrows drift downwards perfectly.

Animation is a very interesting thing to study, there's lots of little tips and techniques you can see when you know a bit about it. I really love it
In a lot of high-budget productions there's Key-Frame Animators and Inbetween Animators who basically trace over the frames. And most shows aren't animated on 1's (a new drawing every frame), but on 2's. For animation on 1's, see the game: "Cuphead", which took 7 years to make. 😅
