First time watcher from Tennessee
Elizabeth, hello and welcome. Thank you for watching.
God has given you gifts of creativity and teaching!!! I loved your cross wreath!! I just found the frame at the dollar store but now I want to make a Christmas wreath. I enjoy watching you and the banter between you and your husband too!!!
I am so glad that you found these tutorials to help inspire your creativity. I love finding new things to help you make your home look beautiful Betty Lou
This wreath is BEAUTIFUL and dont have a lot on it but do.
thanks Sharon, that is the beauty of design is that we can add what inspires us at that time.
I'm two years late to your videos, but tonight I was determined to make a wreath for my front door. I had purchased the wreaths after Christmas at Michael's about 5-6 years ago, and then it lived in my garage taunting me everytime I drove in to park. In April this year I bought ribbon and Christmas ball shaped ornaments and kept them sitting in the living room so I would do it. And here it is Christmas Eve Eve, and I finished making and hanging my wreath about the same time you finished yours. You had great ideas, including lighting my wreath. I happened to have battery operated lights that I've had for months and now forgot why I bought them in the first place, but it really made the wreath so pretty. So thank you for the inspiration and getting me to finally make my wreath. I still have more wreaths in the garage. I might make a few more to hang inside...one of these days. 🤣🎄 Merry Christmas 2021. Happy New Year!
Kathy, I am so glad you found inspiration and love the ideas you have implemented in your own design. Now you are well on your way to creating a wonderful and inviting front door for not only your friends and family but also for you to enjoy as well. First time viewer and I just love the wreath you made. So I subscribed can't wait to see what you make next time.
Always will be something new Mary! Thanks for subscribing.
I always hot glue the hanger onto the bulb before adding them to my wreath or anything else and it sticks pretty well
Brandi, that's a great tip. You can go either way but we always want to make sure they don't come off.
Great video. Thank you!
Looks very pretty
Finally, thank you, Your video showed me exactly how to use the bow dabra with measurements.
You're more than welcome John.
I made a blue and silver wreath and also to go with it a blue and white lantern. They both turned out beautiful.
That sounds gorgeous Mary.
Wow , it would be cool if one day you could take pictures of the scenery and post them . I will never be able to visit California .

Where did you get your bow maker???
So glad you did one of these, I have one a customer wants me to restore.
Valerie, can't wait to see what you come up with.
Beautiful Kat, :)
Thank you Marialena.
Where is best place to buy bow maker and which style
Dorene, I prefer the Bowdabra which can be found at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Joann or Michaels. You can even purchase it online via Amazon as well. Just make sure you are not getting the mini one. It just has lots of other uses besides making bows like when you need an extra pair of hands to hold things it works perfectly.
Hi Kat,
I love watching to make beautiful designs. I have a question? How do you get your loop measurements using the bowdabra?
I use the measurements on my cutting mat, cmarshal64
Kat's Creations 777 Ok, so you take the bowdabra and measure from the lines on the mate?
@@cmarshal64 yes. I find the center from the Bowdabra and then size my tails and loops of ribbon accordingly.
Oh, okay I think I got it. Thank you so much😊
@@cmarshal64 You're so welcome.
Where did you get the Merry Christmas sign?
From CraftOutlet.com
I bought a wreath that is already decorated. I would like to put lights in it. Is it possible
Absolutely. You can simply weave it around the embellishments and ribbon that are already there Brenda.
Hello Kat, how do I keep this video. I need to watch it again you share great ideas.

What part of California are you at . My father was stationed at Fort Pendleton when he was in Navy
I am in Victorville, up in the high desert on the way to Las Vegas, Elaine.
Can you incorporate some deco mesh too
Oh absolutely Debby, my current videos from 2021 feature using Deco Mesh in the Evergreen base.
Traditional
Where do u get lights?
Judy, Here is the same ones I use from Amazon using my affiliate link: amzn.to/3Glte8h
I think she has said San Diego.
Sorry Kat. I was telling you it was beautiful! My Dad wants an evergreen wreath. I have an abscess in my tooth and a friend texted as I was texting you. Told him I was in pain. Sorry!
No worries Nancy. I can't wait to see what you create.

is that thing already a wreath that you're decorating?
Yes it is a plain evergreen wreath base Bill
I guess the title is misleading. It's diy decorating an artificial wreath.
@@billshadel8550 Well the description does clarify that we are creating a traditional evergreen wreath to take it from plain base to something worthy of having in your home.
Yeah. A lot of pain.
Iam Frances Garcia of Rocky Ford colorado ilove your make wealthy i am try a some wealthy??
Bow doesn’t match wreath and makes wreath way too busy.
The best part is that as a designer, the choice is ultimately up to you.
Less is more.
