And the people of Laval are still very friendly. Small town feel to the place. I stood somewhere along that bridge where the GI’s were in this film. Was there a year ago, 2022

My grandfather was in Co. K, 3rd Battalion, 313th Infantry, and was wounded by artillery later in August, after this footage was taken. Any idea which part of the 313th this footage is showing?

There is nothing in the original description that indicates a specific company. Maybe a historian who specializes in the 79th ID or 313th Infantry could identify the companies based on reports.
