I'd say it made it feel less special. And with the feedback he got "Pen Ben", it would have made him think others didn't see anything so special about his love letters, only that he wrote a lot. And that can hurt. I personally feel JLO was either drunk in love and/or hellbent on cashing out on their love story. But you don't make a love story at the beginning of love, instead you experience it and then tell it at the end. In fact, others would even tell it for you. It seemed to be more important to her to tell a story, create a film and sell it, than being married in real-time, in the moment, and in real life.

IMO I don't think sharing some letters should be grounds for checking out of a marriage. Yes, it's in very poor taste, but she has always been vocal about Ben being the love of her life in interviews. I don't think she meant any real harm; I think she shared the letters to show the depth of feelings they had for each other at that time, and that she keep the letters after all these years, which is really romantic. To me, it shows what a great love they had for each other, and there's no shame in that. Ben is also a bit complicated.

I'm sure he made himself emotionally vulnerable to her in those letters and she exposed him!!! Why would she do that?!? It really does seem like she's trying to prove something. I'd say it made it feel less special. And with the feedback he got "Pen Ben", it would have made him think others didn't see anything so special about his love letters, only that he wrote a lot. And that can hurt. I personally feel JLO was either drunk in love and/or hellbent on cashing out on their love story. But you don't make a love story at the beginning of love, instead you experience it and then tell it at the end. In fact, others would even tell it for you. It seemed to be more important to her to tell a story, create a film and sell it, than being married in real-time, in the moment, and in real life.
Also, it’s such a betrayal! It probably hurt Garner and the kids thinking that he had stayed in touch with her the whole time and kept everything from the past. IMO I don't think sharing some letters should be grounds for checking out of a marriage. Yes, it's in very poor taste, but she has always been vocal about Ben being the love of her life in interviews. I don't think she meant any real harm; I think she shared the letters to show the depth of feelings they had for each other at that time, and that she keep the letters after all these years, which is really romantic. To me, it shows what a great love they had for each other, and there's no shame in that. Ben is also a bit complicated.

I don't think it's weird at all...she even said it herself, that as an artist she finds inspiration in what she has been through or what she is currently going through. I also think that sharing the letters may have been in really bad taste and an invasion of his privacy, but it's not grounds for checking out of a marriage, especially if he pursued her again after all those years. Yeah they were both probably vulnerable and they had a connection but Jennifer can’t help but have constant attention.
@criminalmindsgirl2936 I think you’re on to something because I also remember when he was dating Ana de Armas. he took a photo with her and he looked miserable in that photo. Next thing I knew, he got back with Jlo. It does seem like he was/is going through something.
@a.m6523 , exactly. We all know how JLo is but Ben definitely has alot of personal issues. And I think because he really loved Jennifer, he tried his best to support her.
So sad those love letters were private and should of stayed private. The public needs to know about your music/concerts other things remain private

This is a surprise to her and she feels lied to by him because he told her he was in for the long run and he bailed.
He says he likes to keep his info private but in the video he is badmouthing her like the rest of the public. She set the divorce date as a way of saying f/u because she cares about him but she is not going to change in 24 months. Also she doesn’t seem to make the connection that following her heart only leads to deceit, Jeremiah 17:9.
He is an addict that will never have the energy that attracted him to her. He has character flaws one of which is cheating on Jennifer and then blaming everyone for his shortcomings. Good rinse! She will be fine because no matter how much people hate on her they can’t diminish her experience and persistence.
