I'm so happy that the XFA-27 is so easy to assemble without glue. It's really helpful that this is the case for the fictional aircraft! I can't wait for Kotobukiya's X-02 model if it's going to be this easy as well :D And thank you so much for the video guide, ACF, this will help me a lot when I assemble mine!

Was thinking about buying one, but seems like it needs much more work after assembly, like panellines and a bit of weathering to make it look better imo
True, I've seen what some folks in Japan did and it looks amazing with panellines, the problem is that I'm too much of a noob for this kind of things so I won't even try
@@Garuda1_AC6 It's not that simple: before doing your panel lining, you first need to give the model a topcoat. Tamiya accent colors used for panel lining are enamel based and can damage your kit if you apply it on bare plastic. A clear gloss topcoat will protect the plastic and allow you to clean any excess wash you apply to your model. Actually the process is simple but you have a few steps to follow so that you get a decent result and avoid ruining your model.

The bottom fins of the XFA is in the closed or landing configuration. It should be fully extended when it is in flight mode.

@OptimalOptimus50 A season pass is a pre-order for additional content. The contents of the season pass are three original aircraft (original = fictional) three missions and the music player. I'm hoping that the XFA-27 is one of the three aircraft.
@OptimalOptimus50 Most people don't seem to share your optimism. The common prediction is that the planes will be the FALKEN, Morgan and the Wyvern. One from each game of the Holy Trinity. I personally disagree, as the FALKEN and Morgan are too similar to each other, and both of them are a bit too similar (as far as we know) to the new ADF series aircraft that's being introduced in AC7.
@OptimalOptimus50 Wyvern might be a bit dicey too. Because it seems like we *MIGHT* get a two-seat Wyvern along with the new ADF derivative. That's just based off a model kit that hasn't been fully revealed yet though. It's another Kotobukiya kit that was teased alongside these XFA-27 models actually.

If you ever want to make the one that is for modeler one day, hasegawa have plenty of ace combat decal planes and they are on 1/72 scale so it's larger. But they are limited edition so probably the more famous planes, the price will be very expensive since it's harder to get sadly. I only ever got the Pixy plane 2 years ago as the others are just out of my budget.
AC Infinity? But this plane was 1st featured in AC2, as the final unlock/only non-licensed aircraft.

They are really small indeed but aren't that fragile. I dropped my plane a couple of times and nothing fell off
