    Emily I am playing this solo with a band this summer. This lesson is magnificent, from the first idea of recording the E Horn part to ending in a sweet fade at the end. While the band part in a different key, every bit of this instruction will help my practice so much, so that I am not just playing a jumble of notes but a beautiful piece of music.

    Thank you so much for the video! Do you use Single or Double tongue? Best regards.

    • @EmilyBeynonflute
      @EmilyBeynonflute  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Thanks for your question, Anja. In the orchestra, it really depends on the tempo but personally I usually prefer single if possible as it’s easier for me to control. How about you??

      @@EmilyBeynonfluteThank you so much for answering my question. I am still not sure about how to play it in the upcoming audition, but for me it is easier to play with double tongue. I will practice it with single tongue the next days though. 😊

    I’m still confused with the rhythm at G- all the recordings of this part sounds rushing🥲

    • @EmilyBeynonflute
      @EmilyBeynonflute  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, I understand and it IS tricky!! Try it without the grace notes and maybe even without the first ‘main’ note. Once THAT feels safe and comfortable, add the other two elements. Good luck!
