- What if Scythe had one more chance to save Albion from Jack of Blades, could he do it?
This was a series of cutscenes that I made or edited for Fable: The Lost Chapters to create a scenario in which the Hero chooses to wear Jack's Mask, so Scythe has to try and stop the new Jack from destroying Albion.
Think of it as an extension of the "Evil Ending" or at least, how I think it should have went. With a bit more exaggeration for a comedic effect.

The new Fable game will be Little reboot.
@@AvariceOverlord The game should be set up inside the 500 years between Fable 1 and 2 and will also be a reboot. Maybe we will see how the civlillans destroeyd the entire heroes guild and killed most of the heores. Scythe and a few others could escaped this brutal slaughter. What do you think would happen if Scythe would in an reboot interact with Theresa? After fable 2 Scythe meet up with a resurrectet Rose. Its stupid he werent in Fable 2 or 3.
@@Kira-is9vu It would be great if they made it fill in the gaps between either before the Heroes Guild or if like you say, it filled in the games between Fable 1 and 2. So much time was skipped and they could have kept the medieval fantasy theme going a bit longer. Fable 3 was a good game, but I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the first two.

Even when his body has been taken over by an all powerful demon, the Guild Master can’t help but remind him to watch his stats.
Yeah, I thought that would be a nice little detail to add since when you play as Jack at the end, the Guildmaster still talks to you through the Guild Seal haha. It's almost like your character just has PTSD now.

The use of in game dialogue to stimulate a conversation rather than silent scenes and just text was really well done, but I do have to take issue with Scythe giving Jack a lecture on the importance of the oracle near the start, haha.
But that’s a nitpick, this was overall really cool and very well done! A project that came together very well and depicted what could have been an epic duel if we ever got to see it, but great work overall! ♥️
Thanks mate! I put a lot of effort into trying to piece things together. A lot of it was driven by the dialogue and trying to think of how I can visualise that. But I definitely agree that Scythe's introduction to it all is a little drawn out, haha and as always I appreciate the feedback! Unfortunately Scythe doesn't have a lot of dialogue or animations to work with, but I feel like I made it seem somewhat coherent with what you see in the cutscene. The different Jack voices is also a little jarring, but it's just a bullet I have to bite.
Been looking forward to this and you didn't disappoint!
Now we need a fully extended "good ending" (if you can truly call it that) where Scythe and Theresa finally meet.
Haha, I was considering doing something like that, while I was working on this. But I don't really know what I could do with that just yet. Glad to hear you enjoyed this one! It's a shame because some of the animations used actually have more than one animation, but with the method I have used, you can't just choose which animation out of that set that you would like to use. So there are a couple of instances where it looks like the same animation is repeating or is used frequently when it really shouldn't (since it changes every time you use them). Thanks mate!

Hey, thank you for the nice words! :) The more I worked on it and read their dialogue, the more I realised I could work with it. I feel like the effort really paid off. Yes, the song at the end is Escape from Fable 3.

Avarice, is all the Jack of Blades audio from previous Fable games? I don't recall hearing some of the things that are in this video. Don't recall the Scarlet quote "ah Scarlet, the worms...steal your soul." Or other quotes if you put on the mask. Where in the game can I find Jack saying these quotes?
Yes, every bit of dialogue in this video is audio from Fable: TLC.
The different ones for Jack after putting on the mask are unused dialogue, it seems the developers had planned for it to be different each time you did it. As for the dialogue where he comments about Scarlet Robe, I believe that is from when you go to get her soul before fighting Jack's final form.

@@josephhutchison9952 go to the Nexus Mod Page for Fable TLC and look for ShadowNet or Chocolate box. Once it's installed, look through text.big.
@@AvariceOverlord wow that's amazing, they definitely should have kept the alternate dialog versions, it just adds to the game, they even did the voice change for anniversary on it despite not implementing it
Good avaricia , I would love for you to solve a fable question for me. To download mods in nexus mods do I have to have annyversary fable on steam? Can't play mods? Taking the pirate game? I love for you to explain to me
I think as long as you have the game in one way (legit or not) it should work.
I love the work with the context of the game you did here. Im just thinking of how creative you can be if you did deep fakes.
Thanks for telling me how you feel about it! If I could get the audio for my own voice in there, I would probably do it and add my own characters / dialogue. But it seems that isn't possible yet with the current modding tools :'(
@@AvariceOverlord Oh it's already fine with the animation. Just thought it would be easier to focus on the audio. Like the added text on some of your videos were mute and thought you could deep fake audio the filling.

Who was the other pale ghost in the hero crowd? Nostro?
By the way, I recall an old idea that I wish that had I posted on the requests section of FableTLCMod back in the day... Would it be possible to swap meshes with Nostro’s Armor, and helmet, or his undead-Boots to create equipable armor and not just quest items? I know that his sword can be equipped when spawned into the game, but I always wondered if something could be done so that Nostro’s armour could finally be worn. I feel like this was a missed opportunity for the developers, and again in Fable Anniv’s DLC.

I couldn't agree more, despite not really having a lot of depth as a character in the games themselves, Jack still comes across as a compelling figure with-in the Fable series and the lore makes it out like he has been alive for a lot longer than William/Scythe (with him being from the Void and all) which in theory should make him the strongest being that we have witnessed roam Albion.
Ah, that's a good point. I should have added Nostro! I believe in my head, the ghosts were meant to be the Heroes' family and friends that he let die during an Evil playthrough. I believe the one behind Scarlet was meant to be Brom, but I obviously just re-used a villager ghost.
As for your question about Nostro's armour: I am pretty sure I have seen a mod which does that before. So it's definitely not impossible. However, I don't really know anything about 3D modelling and armour rigging.
@@AvariceOverlord I believe Jack is the Strongest but maybe only when he has the sword of aeons and I think, and personally I believe he's the best of fable antagonist's by a long shot

I have to say that I can't help but rewatch this and feel proud of the result. I believe it took me about 3 or 4 days to put everything together.
Can you make one of The Guildmaster weaver vs The Dark Lord Jack of Blades. That would be epic and I would appreciate it very much
Dialogue and animations might be scarce, after all, we never see Weaver fight in the game. But it might be possible with a bit of work.
@@AvariceOverlord True but at least we saw him making magical shields around his allies. And one lady mentioned in the guild that the Guildmaster is a powerful man. I can't remember that we saw Scythe fight in the game as well but if there's one person who could pull it off is definitely you 😁.
Haha, very true! In the case of Scythe, its because he uses the same animation as Maze. You can actually see this by watching the cutscene where he argues with Maze in the Heroes Guild at the start of the game.

Yes, I edited / made these cutscenes myself using a modding program!
I’m sorry but to me at least the fable series went down hill after tlc, like 2/3rds of the spells got canned, the alignment system reduced to just that! An alignment
No more horns or halos, but I did like that you could buy all of Albion in 2, my role play for fable 2 was that I was the mad king, I was evil and slaughtered those deserving, and some that were not (god of war reference)
That's ok! Everyone has their preferences, I personally prefer TLC myself :)
Agree completely, especially the spells, it's literally integral to Fable and it's identity, they completely lost not only the art style but the entire feel of the combat, hell even the customization past 1 is kinda lackluster, I mean yeah u can dye stuff, like woo hoo that's it, abysmal lack of content
