So, it is possible to edit an existing quest as many times as you like. But you can't make your own as editing an existing quest still needs it to end the same way as it does in the retail game (the wasp queen still needs to die to progress for example)

"sigh" that's sad. I just had a cool ideas for Dark wood: make a quest line based on Deamon souls location, called The valley of defilement, but then I checked the wiki, and it says: can't make any new quests.

@@maedrosthehight5816 You could still make a Region called that and add some mechanics inspired by it. You could also duplicate the boss fight for Nostro to help fit the theme. It just wouldn't act like a traditional quest with like cutscenes, triggers, rewards, etc. While it is not impossible to add stuff to mimic that kind of thing, it would take a bit more effort. Like altering the bosses loot table so that the player gets the reward that way or something.

Did you put the def.xml in the same folder as ChocolateBox? Did you edit the def.xml file so that ChocolateBox knows where your game files are? Do you have more than one hard drive?

I think there is technically a legendary version of the stick weapon called "Orkon's Club" but I really can't blame you for not mentioning it is as it is still sooo weak and not a memorable weapon at all. The part where you mention the Shillelagh is interesting, I never heard of one before but after googling it I see exactly what you mean. It's very possible that was an inspiration for the shape of this bone.

I would be able to for the video, but not for the actual changes in the game. We can export as much dialogue as we want, but we can't import our own.

Do you know how long ago this was? I can only assume it was before I finished off the starting area. The latest version currently (0.6.5) should have the trophy inside.

I can definitely see why you would think that, they look very similar. However, the one on the skeleton has blood splatters whilst the Old Boot item is just green.

That's not a bad theory, to be honest. I doubt the original plan was for you to get a Stick three times in the game (if we count that it might have been possible for you to get one during Start Oakvale). It's also shaped and textured very similarly to the Stick, like it was meant to be a legendary variant.

The Platinum Troll definitely seems like the most likely candidate with the description stating that this particular race of trolls is extinct. I agree, I would have imagined it to be longer, heavier and shinier with that context in mind. And in typical Fable fashion, it's shape is very questionable.

It really does seem like this was planned to be some kind of legendary weapon, perhaps a variant of the Stick Weapon like Orkon's Club? With the description mentioning a "now extinct race of trolls" it leads us to assume that perhaps it was based off a Platinum Troll. Which I guess would count as a Golem?

Sometimes it just feels like all the planets align, ya know?
