A Traeger opens the door to so many new meals and snacks, you definitely made the right choice. I know salmon is a little harder to come by down there is Texas, but if you ever get your hands on some you've got to try smoking it.

Thanks, Grant! Salmon was the second thing I smoked and it turned out great! There are some quirky things I'll have to learn about the Traeger, but I'm excited for the journey.

It depends on your budget and what you're going for. I'd say the only real bummer I've had so far is the Pro Series doesn't have a heavy smoke option. I'll definitely add that to my follow up review. If you can afford their Timberline series, I'd go for that. Kind of wishing I splurged on that. I got my Traeger first and foremost to smoke, and I need more smoke!
